Description
Being sick let me play Ultra Moon and beat the game. I enjoyed it well enough, though I'm disappointed in several things too. Mostly concerning how they ripped away some more memorable moments with Lillie. also how they introduce this other dimension and new inhabitants, yet we get to see nothing really of their world or people. It really disappointed me because I was looking forward to running around a bit and looking at the things they may have included. Nope. It's like the freakin Twilight Realm all over again.

I did really enjoy the Ultra Recon Squad people though. They sound fascinating and really remind me a lot of the, "Emerald Episode" of the Hoenn remakes. Especially the part wherein Zinnia remarked about another world with pokemon like the one you're playing in. I also really like that these characters look human but exhibit unnatural genetics. Blue skin? I'm in. Commonly oddly colored hair? I'm here for that. Tech based people? I'm absolutely down for that. So I ended up making my own citizen of Ultra Megalopolis.

Cyra here is about the age Trial goers in Alola start their journeys. So she's around 11 (I have yet to fully decide her actual age). She's not a part of the Ultra Recon Squad nor is she affiliated. I'm not even sure if they all wear the same space suit stuff, but it's highly likely given what canon shows. Anyway, Cyra learned of Alola through the "odd visitors" that came through. After the issue in her home dimension was safely taken care of by a young pokemon trainer (my player character in this case), Cyra decided that she wanted to visit Alola for herself. She hitched a ride through Ultra Space and ended up finding Alola.

Landing in Alola was quite the experience. All Cyra had to her name were the clothes she wore and the Poipole she brought from home. Her companion Poipole could battle but she's awful at it and her Poipole ended up beaten up quite a bit. Cyra wasn't even sure as to why people battled at all. In self defense it made sense, but for sport? Clearly she was missing something. Cyra ended up finding her way to a tourist center where she learned of a Pokemon Ranch that was still fairly recently established in Alola. People seemed to speak highly of it and its owner which made Cyra catch a ferry to the islands in which the ranch was established. She wanted to learn more about this whole trainer business.

This is where she meets my breeder OC, Kitana. Cyra ends up challenging Kitana to a battle but loses miserably. Curious of Cyra and her companion, Kitana offers to let her stay on the ranch for a bit. This allowed Cyra a place to stay and earn money for future travels and such. She stayed a few weeks and learned a bit more about what it was to be a trainer (though she still didn't quite understand). Cyra is currently wondering whether or not she should try these Alolan Trials she's been told of. She wants to set off but she's not quite confident in her abilities enough to go it alone. So for the time being she's studying up what she can at Kitana's ranch, hoping to find a travel partner through one of the island's visitors. On occasion she makes runs to Heahea City where Kitana has a business building for her ranch. The many tourists that gather there always seem somewhat promising to Cyra even if she has yet to find a friend to attempt the trials with.
