Description Once upon a time Fera had a light source. Then she lost it and winged everything. The END.

EDIT: dA REALLY faded/washed out the colors. You can view the original here: metroid-tamer.tumblr.com/post/…

*cough* This is probably crap. The last few I did I just didn't have the drive to work on like I did with the others, so they look sub-par to the rest. Tried to diversify here as far as OCs went. Some new faces, old faces and some nobody remembers.

Starting from the fish kid (zora) and going clockwise:

Coriel (Legend of Zelda): One of Sophitia's children and the only one to look most like her. Coriel is a free-spirited child with big dreams and aspirations. Being so young, she has yet to do anything really significant in her life. She hopes to change that someday but for now enjoys life as a kid.

Ignitus (Rise of Darkness, original story): One of the Six Children created by the Mother Goddess. Ignitus was responsible for land expansion during Temprin's creation. He also had a hand in helping Glaceia create the land's seasons. He used to reside in the volcanic lands where the E'leevari found him. After a while he retreated to the heavens after having entrusted his following with a sacred relic.

Anthea (Legend of Zelda): A sword spirit that lost her master in battle and was afflicted by an attack that caused her amnesia, making her forget her allegiance and origins. Years of being alone and suffering the loss of power has severely affected her personality. Anthea is bitter, hateful and self-centered. Shortly before the events of Skyward Sword she is recovered by Ghirahim who offered to help her get what she wants in exchange for her help. Though distrusting, Anthea has accepted to work with Ghirahim to avoid being put back into the useless state she'd been in.

Natalia Shepard (Mass Effect): Natalia has one of the the most confusing personalities ever. She is very social and tends to tease her crew/friends and crack off jokes. But she's also as likely to punch you in the face as she is to crack off a joke. Natalia has a very risky battle style but she proves to be one hell of an effective fighter (vanguard). Natalia started her fight against the Reapers as a paragon, but as time went on she fell more to the renegade side but is about even as far as her morality goes. She saved the galaxy by destroying the Reapers once and for all and she even lived to tell the tale.

Eshala (Mass Effect): A Prothean soldier regarded in her time as a weapons master. Eshala is also a very strong and talented biotic. After a very distressing event in her past, she was "broken" by the Reapers. Eshala has trust issues and will often read her surroundings and people she interacts with out of habit. Self-preservation is her biggest concern and she will stop at nothing to save her own ass even if it means letting others die. Though she's rude and abrasive, she does lighten up somewhat when she actually works on "recovering" from her broken state. She has many fears that have worsened since awakening in the current cycle but she doesn't openly admit this.

Nadia Irideika (Rise of Darkness, original story): Nadia is Aidan Irideika's older twin sister and Tio Irideika's younger sister. Nadia is an elf that lives in Renelon where she trains in the art of swordsmanship. She is slightly above Aidan in skill and is one of two women trained in Renelon's community. Nadia is a very friendly individual who likes to explore and socialize. She is good friends with a drigani named Aren. Nadia dreams of going on an adventure of her own someday but for now she focuses on finishing her training.

Sierra (Unnamed SciFi Story, original story): An android who can change her appearance in near every way possible. Originally created for espionage and combat, Sierra developed a high level of sentience that concerned her creators. Through contact with Selene and Chandra Acker, Sierra adopted their views which led her and her brother project, Alpha, to eventually rebel. Sierra escaped due to Alpha sacrificing his safety to allow it. Sierra is a foul tempered android and pushes people away unless she decides they are of use. Her views make her feel superior and that organic life is inefficient and annoying, although she has to learn to fit in. Once she can she launches a rescue to free Alpha.

Samantha "Sammie" Adams (Unnamed SciFi Story (Original story): The daughter of Commander Zak Adams. Sammie was raised on Alithinos by her father's side of the family which only consisted of his grandmother, Xelia. Sammie's always been an energetic individual and is friendly as well. She grows up to join the Ezeron Police force and work undercover. Don't let her appearance fool you: she is much stronger than she looks.

Ava (Metroid): A mutant hybrid "created" by the Space Pirates after they infused her with Luminoth DNA. Ava's DNA adapted to the luminoth DNA granting her psychic powers and a new appearance. She is not a fighter or a leader, being rather timid and quick to hide or comply. She is among the remaining mutants as she was lucky enough to survive. Where she is now is a mystery and what will become of her is even more of a mystery. Like all mutant Andra children, she longs for freedom from the Space Pirates.

Ine'Razah nar Neema (Mass Effect): A young quarian engineer with poor social skills. As she is supportive of the geth more than her people, Ine was ridiculed and ignored while growing up. She spends a lot of her time alone and with her combat drone which she treats as a person. Ine's goal on her pilgrimage was to establish positive contact with the geth. She was called back to the Migrant Fleet before her pilgrimage could be completed and was among those fighting on Rannoch. She survived despite being a noncombatant thanks to tricks she picked up from a salarian friend of hers. She stayed to help on Rannoch when peace was brokered between the quarians and the geth.

Noxis (Rise of Darkness, original story): One of the Six Children created by the Mother Goddess. Noxis, like her brothers and sisters, helped resolve a stalemate of a war between Heaven and the Underworld in ancient times. Before that she had granted the gift of time to the land. She was discovered by the ancient shadow E'leevari who adopted her as their religious figure. Noxis left them with a God of her creation and a sacred relic when it came time to return to the Heavens. She eventually had to destroy her creation (that became corrupt) to save the shadow E'leevari. She has not been seen since though rumor has it she communicates with the Shadow E'leevari through the relic.

Aaahh, so it's finally done! It was fun seeing your progress on Tumblr every now and then, and now it's finally done! First of I think this was good choice of base to use! And all the little chibis shows their own personality that you have to place fitting characters onto. And seeing that the human-looking characters has different skin tones is really nice touch if you ask me! I think you've done a really good job and it's impressive seeing all the different tones of colours used in this picture! The only big problem I can see is the hair of the two bottom characters (Sierra and Nadia, am I correct?) But i think dA's background is to blame for that. And I might have added some few more tones on some of character's shading on the faces, but it doesn't stand out much at all and it's mostly me just being nit picky! I understand, and you've yourself said, it's hard with dolling, especially with so many details as in this picture! As I've mentioned earlier you really make me want to try out dolling some day. But I doubt it would look pretty. Anyway, again, really great job! I hope to see more great stuff like this in the future!

Woa, PS: I forgot to say that Ryka must be the most outstanding character here! Like, the details looks freaking amazing for being so small! And i really like the colours too. Those red parts of her suit and her head must be my favourite parts!

Ohgod, lol, I didn't expect such a lengthy comment on this. ;w; But I read it all and I'm so happy to hear that. I'm glad the decision to mix up the skin tones and species worked out. Didn't want to create something that had too much of the same thing going.

Sierra and Nadia I think might be moreso because of their hair color. I've always had a hard time with that color palette. dA washed it out a bit here though because I can swear it was darker in MS Paint. x_x As was Sierra's shading in general. The last time dA screwed over the colors was on another large group image I did.

You should try it out! If you have the patience to work on dolling, it's actually quite fun. That's why it's a hobby for me.

Ah thanks. Ryka was the biggest challenge in this. Had to continuously edit her as I went. The head shape (mostly the face though), the armor, and then the skin colors/blending. It was fun despite the amount of effort. Little details are my specialty after all. xD

Hahahahahaha, some times I leave long comments when i have much to say! Because i enjoy long comments too so I should get better at leaving more comments what so ever~!

So it happens that the colours changes once it's on dA? I can't recall it happening to me but I might not have payed so much attention to it either. But I do know things can look a lot different depending on what computer screen you have. The difference between my home computer and my laptop at school is really big.

What I've caught up about dolling it's kind alike normal digital painting, but pixelated? Like, you gotta make the tones look right and maybe change t outlines to give it the right shading/light effect?

And you're so welcome! I can see much work were put into her! Man, now I can't wait to trade with you, it would be awesome to see one of my characters like this! I really like pixel art!

Yeah. Sometimes uploading them to dA does change the colors a shade or two. xD If I C/P'd the dA version in and tried to remove a color it'd register as a different shade from the original. IDK why it does that, but it sometimes does. Other users who don't doll appear to have the same issue as I've seen complaints all around the site about it. Not much I can do. And screens also have an effect like you said. So it appears differently to every viewer.

Pretty much, yeah. ^hollinesskiss put up an article about dolling a while ago: [link] Pretty in-depth and tells you a lot about dolling. :> There's different styles of dolling between artists though so techniques will often differ.

xD I look forward to it as well. <3

Ow, is there a way the staff could fix that problem? D: Like, if many complains about it they should try to find a solution for it?

Aahh, thank you! I'll bookmark it so I can read it later! And yes, there should be different techniques, just like there's different ones between those who paint, or draw stuff digitally. We all use different things!

>w< Thanks, Lu. The base was too fun to not use. I'm just happy the diversifying I did made it fun for others to look at! You're right, they are a bit of a contrast to everyone else color wise. Didn't really notice that before. XD He is pretty fun to work with too. Simple yet eye catching design.

Thanks again. <3
