Description
An old Danny Phantom/Ghostbusters drawing that I did once
that I felt ought to be posted now, instead of "gathering dust" in my storage.
It's rough art of Danny vs. Samhain.
for those who HAVEN'T watched 'The Real Ghostbusters' (an 80s cartoon based on the Ghostbusters films)
Samhain is the "Spirit of Halloween", and one of the more powerful 'Ghost Masters' that the boys face.
part of what makes this artwork funny is that Danny Phantom ALREADY
has a Spirit of Halloween character with the Fright Knight.
I've always had the theory that in a DP/GB crossover,
Fright Knight MAY HAVE been Samhain's successor to the role..though, not in the way one might think.
taking Samhain's personality into account, he may have been plotting against Pariah Dark (The Ghost King)
and, Fright Knight might have discovered this, and warned the king.
which may be how Samhain was imprisoned, and Fright Knight took his place.
This headcanon would also explain how Fright Knight's one weakness is a Punpkin.
given that it's Samhain's symbol, and the vengful ghost might have placed a curse upon Fright Knight's sword.
So, in the event Samhain ever returned..It'd be like "Freddy vs. Jason" between him and thr Fright Knight.
with DANNY caught in the middle.
