Both are evil mad scientist who have tried (and, failed)
to conquer the world, and destroy a anthropomophic nemesis.
But, What if these two battled each other instead?
Which one would win??, the "Fat Man", or the "Fat Head."

Cortex did try to change things around in the second game of the "Mutant Jacking" series,
where he made up, and partnered with N. Brio again..and, double-crossed Uka Uka,
as by then he was fed up with being his lackey, and wanted to "run the show, again."
I thought that was pretty awesome.

Yeah and in Twinsanity he was like
"Crash help me first then I am going to kill you"
But Robotnik is like "I failed y' know wat we do the same thing over and over again"

And, that's another thing. Crash Twinsanity itself was entirely of Crash and Cortex working together.
As of yet, I haven't seen a SINGLE Sonic Game where Sonic and Eggman work together
(and, Eggman working with Sonic and Friends to save the world from a threat that affect HIM
at the end of most other games doesn't really count, as those are last minute truces.)

Yeah, I was quite excited when they announced the N. Sane Trilogy
that re-released the original three PS1 Crash games remastered for the PS4.
I forgot how..HAAAARD Crash Bandicoot used to be.
One funny note to make as that during the development of the original Crash Bandicoot,
it was nicknamed during production: "Sonic's Ass Game" (as throughout gameplay, you only see Crash's back.)
But, Crash also reminded me of the Tasmanian Devil (or, Taz) from Looney Tunes,
and perhaps even the Taz-Mania cartoon.
Nowadays (ironically) the "Sonic Boom!" cartoon has similar themes to Crash Bandicoot,
being a more comedic action/adventure series set in tropical islands.
(I once posted a joke title pasting Crash's name over Sonic's. creating the snappy title: "Crash Boom")

The closest he got were the scrapped fully animated scenes for the original game,
which were MEANT to play at the opening, and ending of the game (They can be viewed on YouTube, now.)
The scenes were in full 2D Animation. and, looked similar to how Sonic cartoons looked in the 90s.

OH, WAIT! I just remembered. Crash HAS appeared in a cartoon..
..just not on TV.
Crash appeared in one episode of the Netflix Skylanders series ("Crash Landing")
In that episode, he was portrayed as an action hero not unlike Sonic
(Spyro even idolized him for a bit.)
Crash also spoke full English for the first time,
and did so in an Australian accent (which is fitting.)
Cortex didn't appear, BUT I believe Crash mentioned him
when he explained the origins of his "superpowers".
