Description
Not gonna lie. when Aku killed The Scotsman, and he turned intoa blue colored ghost shortly after. I got 1970s Star Wars flashbacks.
I know he explained it as "Mystic Runes" on his sword.
but, let's face it. Whoever wrote this scene must REALLY be into Star Wars.
Much like I tend to do in my fictions, Samurai Jack 'Just pulled an Obi-Wan' on us.

Well Mr. Gennedy was always a fan of Star Wars.
Especially he was given the opportunity to make an animated miniseries of the Clone Wars. (Not the CGI one, mind you. Someone else made that.)

Yes, I know of the "Jedi Jack" mini-movies.
They were meant to bridge the gap between AotC and RotS.
BUT, after The Clone Wars became a full series, they were made non-canon.

Something tells me he's making a comeback in the final episode. You can't have Scotsman in the season and not have him make more appearances.

It would be such a waste to go through all the trouble
to bring him back as a ghost after he is killed, and NOT pay that off in the end.
And, given the cliffhanger of Ep. 9.
It seems like the right time to bring in some of Jack's allies.

Yeah. I would love to see that battle. I wonder if it going to be an army of Scotman, Woolies, the Archers, and the Spartans.

Well, there's Star Wars stuff all over samurai jack. Especially that two-part episode where Jack and the Scotsman try to retrace Jack's memory, there were so many Star Wars references in there it was ridiculous! (Honestly, I think I was more puzzles as to how in the heck the Scotsman had that many daughters! I don't mean to be risqué here, and I know he loves his wife a lot and all, for some god knows reason why, but jeezus man, Pull Out!)

I'm a bit puzzled at how he's produced an ARMY's worth of offspring.
yet, they are all girls. not ONE boy in the bunch.
Now, I am in no way sexist. But..I can imagine the Scotsman
may be a bit disappointed at how after all these years, he's never gotten a son.
In fact, the whole thing reminds me of the old 1954 Disney short 'Casey Bat's Again.'
about a retired baseball player who had NOTHING by daughters (Nine, actually.)
but later becomes their manager once they formed their own baseball team.
(So, just picture all the Scotsman's daughters as sports players.
and, the Scotsman himself as their manager. It's like that.)
