It's hard not to know of the Power Rangers, and NOT know aboutthat one crossover episode where all the Red Rangers up until that point teamed up together.
When I first heard about it..Something like this IMMEDIATELY came to mind.
See, it's common knowledge that the RED Ranger
is always the leader of a given team of Power Rangers.
So, then..if we have a team of ALL Red Rangers. Then..who is the leader??
This is one of those "Too Many Cooks, One Kitchen" sort of thing
(or, "Two Captains, One Ship.")
Just..wow. Who Commands the Commanders??
NOTE: No, I haven't seen this episode..YET.
But, I hear that everything thinks it's "The Best Power Rangers Episode Ever Made."

I think being a true Leader accounts to more than just "look what I can do."
(Afterall. ALL the Red Rangers have accomplished extraordinary feats.)
As the other commentators have professed,
Tommy got all the Red Rangers together (with some help, obviously.)
SO, it's possible Tommy is either Leader, or Co-Leader based on that fact.
(Though, I do see Carter on the front lines, given his superior markmanship.)

Tommy may be the leader, as he got Andros to get all the red rangers together. Andros is second-in-command since he got the info and warned Tommy about the plot.

In that episode Tommy is the one to organise the gathering of the Red Rangers, I would say he is the leader this time, but Jason is a little more respected being the first Red.
