Name: Jaden "Jade" Go

 Age: 1 Year (Chronologically)

      16 Years (Biologically)

 Species: Human Mutant (Clone)

 Powers/Abilities: Expert Martial Artist

                   Strategist/Tactician

                   Energy Generation/Manipulation

                   Enhanced Endurance

 Family: Shego (Genetic Template/Biological Mother)

         Hego (Uncle)

Friends: Joss Possible (Best Friend/Love Interest)

          Olivia Hackwrench (Friend)

Bio: Jade is a real complicated character.

At first glance, he resembles a younger, 'male' version of the known supercriminal Shego
(and, could very well pass off as her ligitiment offspring)

but, the truth in his identity and connection to Shego is far more Stranger..

Jade is actually the only successful outcome of a secret project to clone Shego
(intentions are unknown, but the speculated purpose is an Army of Superpowers Super Soldiers)
as previous attempts to create a Perfect FEMALE Clone all ended in failure..

forcing the mastermind(s) behind the experiment to try for a MALE Clone.

Prior to his name, Jade's only known alias was "S-25" (Shego - 25, or 25th Shego Clone)
but, has since gone by the name "Jayden" to aquire some human identity.

      Jade's past remains a blur,
though, given he was artificially created..there may not be much to go by, anyhow.

what IS known is that he was grown in a lab,
endured harsh (even Cruel) treatment, and eventually escaped

destroying the whole cloning facility in the process..

Initially, Jade wanted to confront Shego, his genetic template.
believing SHE might be behind his creation (and, most likely to blame for his suffering)

but, this single minded goal was sidelined upon meeting Joss Possible,
the teenage cousin of world renound hero KIM POSSIBLE (and, the arch-nemesis of Shego)

Unlike his "mother", Jade has some sense of Justice and Virtue.
though, he persues it in a way that at times seems more criminal, than traditional "superheroing"

his activtites and behavior has caught the attention of Global Justice,
the international Anti-Terrorism/Anti-Crime organasation, who WANT Jade as an agent.

Jade, however, prefers to work with Joss,
whom he has embraced as a True Friend, Partner..and, possible Girlfriend
(both Kim and Shego have mixed feelings regarding they're relationship.)

It is only a matter of time before Jade and Shego meet.
and, NO ONE wants to even think of that outcome.

 *****

This is a character whom I haven't done in awhile: Shego's Clone Son
(who I myself based on Wolverine's 'X-23' character from Marvel)

Some fans of my fiction 'Son of Shego' are again asking for an update,
adding that it's been TWO YEARS since my last one (never realised how Busy I can get.)

With that in mind, I decided to go back,
and, try and Redo the character design for my main character: Jade Go.

as my previous drawings rather LACKING.

I like this one better than my others.
mainly in using more references, bases, and fixing Jade's hair to resemble "Miss Go"
(Shego's Polite and Peppy School Teacher persona)

But, really..This was a success,
as I finally did a Jade Drawing where his head isn't HUGE, and his bady looks small.

Anyhow, in terms of Character,
the story of Jade Go is a special one in my heart.

In that I based his origins off of Shego's often quoted line of "NO CLONES!!"
but, spun it to be a reverse Parallel to Wolverine/X-23 (as I previously stated)

I also like the idea of Shego's Clone/Son being in a relationship,
with Kim Possible's cousin, Joss Possible (who is by now a teenager, and Jade's "age")

the idea seems like Romeo & Juliet.
as Kim and Shego HATE each other, yet members of their families are engaged romanticly.

and, really, this is just a fine story of a Supervillain,
struggling with Parenthood, and how her criminal lifestyle might be straining their relationship.

Jade himself is the perfect fusion of Villain Shego and Superhero Team Go.

in that he is a superhero crime fighter..but, acts more like a vigilante,
prefering to behave as if he WERE a villain like Shego towards the Criminal and Corrupt.

sort of like a deviation from Adam West Batman,
and, adapting straight to Frank Miller or Paul Dini's Batman.

In the latter part of the third season, Monty and Vanessa met each other for the first time on "Minor Monogram" However, they have to keep the relationship a secret from their dads (Francis Monogram of the OWCA and, of course, Heinz Doofenshmirtz).

Ah..I see.

So, they are the son of the leader of a spy agency,
and, the daughter of a mad scientist bent on world domination.

In that case, You are RIGHT.
Jade Go and Joss Possible are a lot like MontyxVanessa.

I'm not being sidelined from my current projects, If that's what you mean.

I just agree with a reviewer that it's been Too Long since I last updated KP,
and, I feel I must get back to work on it..at least a little bit.

My time away on others things gave me time to rethink the storyline,
and, decided to include Scarlett as a villain character.

Mainly because her status as a "Hot, Female Villain"
make her fit in well with the Kim Possible Universe.

Almost like a twisted fusion of Kim and Shego, to a standard KP Fan.

MetroXLR In reply to The--Predator [2013-12-03 02:24:53 +0000 UTC]

It wouldn't of worked any other away..

Aside from an obvious play on Shego's disliking of being clones by ANYONE, for ANY REASON,
It also looked into her character a bit, by having someone who practically IS her taking a different career path than she did.

Shego WAS a superhero, who prides herself on being Evil.
yet, Jade appears to walk a line between Heroism and Villainy

he behaves like a villain (brutal fighting, intimidation, even theft of stolen property)
yet, remains firm on NOT being Evil, and refusing to aid in any World Domination/Global Enslavement schemes.

basically, It's like Shego if she took a different path.

of course, the funnier part of the storyline,
is having Jade be in a romantic relationship with the twin-like cousin of Shego's arch-nemesis.

I can't imagine she is too keen on that idea
(It's kind of like Sedusa's initial thoughts of her son dating a Powerpuff Girl..only more extreme.)

He sounds like an Anti Hero towards the furthest reaches of the scale.

Kind of how the Punisher is a good guy yet does bad things, he kills criminals and corrupt police, he damages property *he doesn't hesitate to use bombs*, he steals from the criminals he kills and you know the rest.

An FBI agent in Dexter describes vigilantism as "domestic terrorism" so that could make Frank Castle a "terrorist" of sorts. At least he targets criminals and not innocents.

I loved in Punisher Warzone when the detective asked for a file on all of Castle's victms and the other guy replies "they are ALL over the room" and he is just turning around at all the boxes with each of Frank's victims.

I heard he killed over 2,000 criminals and still counting.

MetroXLR In reply to The--Predator [2013-12-03 20:44:01 +0000 UTC]

I like it better when Punisher plays 'mind games' with his targets.
THEN, he's living up to the name of Punisher..rather than 'Executioner'

But, back to the subject.

Yes, Jade is much harder on criminals than Hego is,
but, I doubt he's the type that kills.

I mean..he has killed before, but only as a last resort (like when he escaped from the cloning facility where he was "born)

In his way of thinking, he only resorts to lethal force if All Other Options have failed.
he isn't the type that vaporized a guy's head, and goes: "There, I'm done..gimme a soda."

Jade is the perfect blend of Hego and Shego..
He is a crime fighter, but is much more Brutal and Aggressive.

Ironically, despite being similar to them (more so to Shego)
Jade would rather have nothing to do with either of the older Go's.

To Jade, Shego is an Amoral, Psychotic Monster.
and, Hego is Complete Moron acting out (and, fully embracing) a Child's Fantasy.

Both his Mother and Uncle are an embarrassment to him.

I also heard older Batman issues had him use guns and kill criminals too, great contrast to current Batman.

That was way back in the thirties.
back when they thought it was normal for a detective to carry a firearm
(and, BEFORE Batman even started using gadgets.
back in the '39, all Batman had were lock picks and flashlights.)

Nowadays, a Batman with a gun in considered Seriously Wrong.
and, only seen in Batzarro, Owlman and whenever Slade Wilson or Jason Todd tries being Batman.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The--Predator In reply to MetroXLR [2013-12-03 22:01:25 +0000 UTC]

Technically it is normal for a detective to carry firearms, at least a police detective.

I like either version of Batman, the 30s one for being more simplistic with a "normal" car. This one for being unique with his bat gimic gadgets but sometimes this Batman can become as what you describe as "Mary Sueish" (there really is no central definitions for Mary Sue so I'm using your definition which goes for someone who is too overpowered and overcomes everything) where you just know he will win. He gets into trouble but as fans say "with prep time, Batman overcomes everything" it's like he hardly has flaws unless you bring up his parents or are really good at influencing minds. Just the fact that Scarecrow gave him a doze that could drive "ten men insane" either Jonathan Crane got his dosage wrong or Batman really is overpowered sometimes.

This is why I loved Arkham City, for once in my whole Batman observing career, Batman had to be saved by Catwoman instead of overcoming it because "he's Batman."

I'm sure you have many examples of Batman really needing help or he wouldn't make it. I remember where he called Superman to catch him as he was falling because he "can't fly" which I found funny, the way he was saying it so calmly.

So in conclusion, my whole point is that fans make Batman this invincible God-like human who can fight with superhumans that could easily tear him apart. This is what I loved about Akham Asylum Killer Croc, for once Batman can't just go up there and tangle with Croc because let's face it, he is HUMAN while Croc is a huge beast.

In real life there is no way Batman would be able to do what he does in fiction or as some of his fans say he does. A chimpanzee is 5 times stronger than an ordinary humans and chimps are brutal and literally rip humans apart when they attack them, I am not joking and I would not recommend you to search that up.

I remember when Batman once faced Gorilla Grodd and I felt nervous for Bruce Wayne because Gorillas are as strong as 20 humans and I watched one reach for a banana in a tree, you know what it did? Casually tear it down with ONE HAND.

Batman may have faced a leopard and beat it somehow without prep, but I doubt the Dark Knight could face a Silverback Gorilla no matter what his fans say, UNLESS he "has prep"

I will stop thinking out loud now...

You want a good example at "Batman NOT being Perfect", try 'Arkham Origins'

in that game, Batman has only TWO YEARS of experience.
not everyone is that afraid of him, and he makes some mistakes along the way.

there was a scene at the bridge after 'The Firefly Battle'
where Batman and Gordon confess some things to each other..

Batman admits he should've defused ALL of Firefly's bombs (he got all but One)
and, Gordon admits he shouldn't of locked the blast doors on Batman (which made defusing the bombs HARDER)

There is also a funny scene where Batman messed up an Interrogation.

he manhandles a crook called "loose lips"
and, he faints before saying anything (to which Batman mutters "d*mn")

Come the Next encounter, Batman comments that "that interrogation went better"

'Origins' really is Batman in his early years.

The--Predator In reply to MetroXLR [2013-12-03 22:35:55 +0000 UTC]

That's why I think I will like it.

When you watch him in things like Justice League, he is just overpowered sometimes, I mean what COULD he have said to Deadshot that was so horrifying even Superman said "you don't want to know" to Wonder Woman.

While it is bad*ss, it can also add more to Batman's already too much "Mary Sue" meter if that makes sense.

If we were to make an OC just like this, who can take out several men one handed, tangle with wild beasts without getting shredded, able to outsmart every foe, and say words that would make people shiver in fear. Reviewers would probably label this OC a Mary Sue.

And when people say Batman can beat Superman, now that gets ridiculous, sure Batman has kryptonite in his belt, but Superman could react much faster than Batman could even think to use the glowing rock. But luckily, Superman is a good superhero and doesn't aim to kill.

One crossover that annoyed me the most and thankfully these aren't counted as "canon" was when Batman literally kicked the air out of the Hulk's lungs, so this comic is telling me that all General Ross has to do is stop shooting missiles at Hulk and just hire Ninjas who will throw smoke pellets and kick the Hulk in the guts to make him inhale the smoke and render him unconscious? I forgot what the reviewer said but he was MAD! (Which is funny as this involves Hulk...) So apparently, Batman kicks harder than the kinetic force of an exploding missile and even that doesn't faze the Hulk.

This is my problem with Batman sometimes, even in the cartoon he dodged Darkseids Omega Beams, come on, even SUPERMAN gets hit by those and this guy can go faster than light.

But when I learn to stop putting logic into entertainment, then I can enjoy it more. I still like Batman and he is a good character, I admit, I actuallly didn't like him as a kid but as I grew up, he was OK. Arkham Asylum was what made me slowly grow into a Batman fan and Arkham City solidified it when i finally got to play as Batman. The Arkham series reminds us that Batman is a HUMAN and not a supernatural entity with unlimited stamina and extreme kicking abilities that even Hulk can't stand.

That's what happens when countless writers write ONE character.

MetroXLR In reply to The--Predator [2013-12-03 22:45:22 +0000 UTC]

Completely ridiculous..

If they are going to do a Batman vs Hulk story,
at LEAST have Batman wearing Exo-Armor like he does when fighting Bane.

Bane is half as strong as Hulk (course, when on TITAN..who knows)
and, Batman has difficulty fighting him and winning.

heck, there is a point in origins,
where Bane becomes to strong, you must resort selective predator tactics,
as standard punches and kicks are now worthless.

So, in a fight between Batman and Hulk..Batman would have to be more clever.

The--Predator In reply to MetroXLR [2013-12-04 00:50:00 +0000 UTC]

Batman also wore a cool exosuit armor while fighting the Predator in the first crossover comic.

I also loved how in there, he was really in danger and overcame it through sheer cunning and luck, Batman would have been killed if he didn't remotedly control the Batmobile to crash into the Yautja which was holding Batman by the cape and ready to kill him. (They ALWAYS seem to take their time don't they? They never learn.)

My goal in his appearance was to make him look different from Shego,
but, still have that familiarity that makes it clear at first glance WHO he is related to.

as his backstory was based on X-23.
I decided to design his costume to resemble Wolverine.

I was also being original in his name,
and, strayed from the predictable "-go" naming
("Drago" was my original choice, until I decided JADE was cooler, and made more sense.
plus, with Joss as his partner, It's fairly easy to nickname them two "The JJ's")

NOW, I wish he were a real character, and not just an OC.
It would've been nice to see Jade on one of the episodes.

It would've made for an interesting storyline..perhaps even lead to a Spinoff Show.

Many fans of KP talk of wanting Joss Possible getting her own show,
as now (in the series canon, anyway) Kim herself has moved on to other things.

But, my main reason for this CanonxOC pairing,
is that I like he idea of Kim and Shego having to be "In-Laws"

The Family Reunions would certainly be interesting.

It's a Trend that works.
Course, the effect is a lot stronger with Kim & Shego.

being arch-enemies who ALWAYS fight on their show..
the idea of them having to make nice because they're relatives are married into their families is funny to me.

That's another reason I decided to do this.
despite Kim and Shego's animosity, Joss and Jade find it in their hearts to look past all that and love each other.

It's a sort of Non-Judgmental/Non-Prejudicial Relationship.

and, Kim and Shego just have to DEAL.
or, risk ostracizing themselves from beloved members of their own family.

Course, it REALLY gets funny once Joss and Jade have their own kids,
THEN, It becomes official: The Possible/Go Families are a unit.

Now, they HAVE to get along..
