Description The Fourth and FINAL entry of my "Legend of Korra Revision" fanseries (though, NOT the last "Takorra" fiction that I will do.

following the plot of Book Four: Balance (loosely, I might add)
still recovering from mercury poisoning after her battle against the Red Lotus Society
Korra has disappeared from public life for about Three Years.

during this time, Captain Kuvira of the Earth Kingdom has remade herself as "The Great Uniter."
remakes the Earth Kingdom into a new "Earth Empire", and plans to purge it of all non-ethicality
by destroying the "illegal settlement" known as Republic City.

Knowing that Korra is needed to prevent another "Hundred Year War" from breaking out
Tenzin send his children (guided by a now Airbending Master Takka) to find Korra, and bring her home.

By this time, however..Takka and Korra's relationship has strained due to the three years of isolation.
Takka feels hurt and betrayed that Korra left him alone (and, worse yet; wrote letters to Asami alone, and never once spoke to him.)

this hurt attracts Abraxus, the half demon enemy of Takka and Korra.
who attempts to manipulate Takka by picking at his broken heart, and turning all his sadness into Anger.

As Korra tries to save both the world from Kuvira, AND her and Takka's damaged relationship.
she uncovers a long forgotten secret of Avatar Kyoshi..one that will change her and Takka's fate for all time.

Do you think Meelo may have gone through... "puberty" in LOK Book Four?

I got an idea for a name for the villains group in Varrick's story in "Remembrances".

How's this? "Villainous Antagonistic Anarchistic Terrorists United" AKA "V.A.A.T.U."

In Varrick's story, Amon, Vaatu, Unalaq and Zaheer team up to take out Bolin after the Avatar is trapped in the Spirit World.

It's a little hard for me to VIEW deviations (even to comment on them)
without the CORE membership, the ADS I have to deal with lags my browsing experience.

So what is the meaning of "Re:Vengeance" in the title?

MetroXLR In reply to FoxMan0224 [2015-03-19 02:12:08 +0000 UTC]

a blend of the words "Revenge", and "Vengeance."
both words are meant to invoke the dark paths that Kuvira and Takka are taking in their story arc's.

I know "Revenge" and "Vengeance" is included in Takka's side of the story because Abraxus is looking for revenge but what does R and V mean for Kuvira?

I love the sound of that title you have there and does he use a sword.

All I'll saw for now is that by this point: Takka lost his entire Left Arm
(Abraxus will even mock him by calling Takka a "Human Slot Machine.")

but, Takka figured out how to work around this handicap. when NOT utilizing a mechanical prosthetic provided by Helix,
he uses Airbending to form a "Wind Arm" not unlike how Ming-Hua did with her "Water Tendrils"

Despite this, if he must carry a sword, he can only use ONE, not Two.
