"the first time he got sick, I didn't know what to do..
I couldn't just take him to a doctor..even if I wasn't afraid of how they'd react,
I doubts that even the best canterlot doctors could figure out how to help him.
my son wasn't a pony..in fact, his species was completly unknown to us. where would they even START!?

but, I can't just stand by and do nothing..my son's health grows weaker with each passing day.
I assume it's only a flu, but I don't know how vunerable he is to such an ailment!!
I have to do SOMETHING..he'd depending on me to do something.
I mean..I'm Princess Celestia, d*mmit!! I raise the sun itself each day!!..I should be able to help my own son.
I have to..I do not think I could bear to watch this precious creature die when he's only begun to live.
"Don't worry, baby. Mommy will make you all better..I PROMISE."

Fourth in my series of "Mama Celestia" artwork (sadly, this one is lacking in quality)
I've done bedtime, I've feeding time..but, this is one that even the FIMFiction writers haven't done yet.
despite every precaution a mother takes, sooner or later..there child gets sick from something.
usually it's harmless. It comes, then it goes..
but, if sickness strikes an child during infancy (when it's immunity system is still developing)
then, something as simple as a common cold COULD be as lethal as cancer.
usually, parents have options if they go to good doctors..but, THIS situation is different.
as Celestia's adoptive son is a species (human) that Equestria has never seen, nor heard of before.
then, knowledge of said child's immunity system is VERY slim,
and, there is no way of knowing how vunerable he is, OR how safe common remedies are.
Despite this, the situation is CLEAR: Celestia's adoptive son is sick..and, is depending on his equine mother to make him well again.
and, Celestia would sooner banish herself to the sun than allow her new treasure to perish so early in life.
