Decided to go ahead an get this done.
Shown here is the title card for my Gargoyles/Batman crossover: Manhattan Knight.
The fanfic is set in an alternate universe (as most of my stories usually do)
and, takes place during the time in Gargoyles when Angela first joined the Manhattan Clan.
(After "Avalon World Tour" and "The Gathering Parts I-II")
as for the Batman Elements..
the story is based on "Batman: Year One/Batman Begins", "The Batman" and "Batman, Incorporated"
(though is mostly similar to the videogame "Batman: Arkham Origins")
the story will be a Dramatic Romance between Angela and a Younger Batman (an OC)
nothing against the BroadwayxAngela shippers.
but, a slong as I am doing an Au story, I wanted to try something different (and, more dramatic)
the secondary pairing will be (of course) Goliath and Elisa.
though, I don't plan for this whole thing to just be about "The Next Battle"
this story will stay true to BOTH franchises in terms of Tense, Emotional Situations.

Could the mutates welcome Croc? Because most of the time he's one too; he was born with scaly skin, but the size and tail are modifications.

It would certainly be in their character to do so.
However, if that does happen, I expect a similar situation
from the Batman: The Animated series episode, 'Sideshow', to happen.
Where Croc accepts their kindness..at first.
But, eventually reverts to his old ways and turns on them.
as like the story of "The Frog and The Scorpion", some people just can't fight their base natures.

Not DCAU scaly orc Morgan, but rather, a tragic Godzilla-like killer from now that could fit in Gargoyles: born simply with scaly skin due to atavism, goes to Gotham after making a living of wrestling gators thinking he's a big deal because he's big and scaly, Batman beats the shit out of him, Joker hears of Sevarius work (somehow) and wants to recreate Godzilla; Joker convinces Croc to undertake an operation that will make him stronger without telling him the side effects (a tail, enlarged size, a theropod-like muzzle... he's more of an amalgam of dinosaurs and reptiles than a man with excessive atavism, but because of his cajun accent and his original appareance he's still called Killer Croc).
Croc becomes a monster that defeats Batman but then goes on a rampage through Gotham (because the operation was horrifyingly painful and the inclusion of Venom) that sees dozens of people dead and that only stops because Superman arrives and the intervention of the National Guard. Even though he's found innocent after Joker reveals his plot, he's condemned to death (by being directly shot with a 155mm howitzer) both because his death toll and because he's monstruous looking (and because Cadmus hopes to use his corpse for... something)
Croc escapes to the sea, and after several days of swimming (he has Mosasaur DNA, from Atlantis) and becoming determined to kill Joker arrives to New York.
The Clan and the mutates, knowing of him, inmediatly attack, but Croc not only defeats them all with only a bit of difficulty (let's give it a try), but also kidnaps Maggie, planning to devour her because he's reached the state of 'Then Let Me Evil!' However...

I'm also thinking of using the more obscure batman villains for the "Manhattan Batman"
such as Tobias Whale, Magpie and reinventing Hyena as Manhattan's "Joker" (for some reason I've always liked the idea of a female joker.)
I wouldn't want to force too many of the well known villains here, like Poison Ivy, Two-Face and Mister Freeze.
(makes one wonder who Bruce Wayne is dealing with in Gotham)

Yes. that is one idea I am proud of.
in 'Gargoyles', while Jackal and Hyena are both described as "psychotic clowns", Jackal is more in control of himself,
while Hyena does very little to conceal her bloodlust, and Jackal often has to hold her back on missions that require stealth.
If there was anyone that Joker would want to mold into a duplication of himself in the Gargoyles universe..it's Hyena.
apart from the naming pun, her personality isn't that far off from Joker himself.
all she needs is the right push, and she can very well be "Joker's Daughter"

Joker's daughter and also Harley Quinn is the one who fell in love with the Joker.

Oh, I know that Harley is Joker's "main squeeze" I am just spinning on the idea of Joker imitating what Batman is doing, and creating Joker's to challenge the Batmen.
in a sense, that could be one contingency plan in the event Joker dies before Batman. enduring that even in death, Joker will continue to menace Batman through his "apprentices" (like Hyena, Manhattan's Joker)
So, even if Joker dies..the Joker never REALLY dies.

That The Gargoyles encounter Ra's al Ghul at some point.

Yeah, the Manhattan Clan are no strangers to immortals (just ask Demona and Macbeth)
but, one clever Idea I had was having the villainess Hyena
undergo a radical (and, better left unspoken) process that turns her into Manhattan's "Joker"
(picture Hyena with bionic parts repainted purple/green, with a Heath Ledger-like face)
I was also thinking of having Macbeth and Deathstroke have a confrontation
(i'll work out the reason LATER..I just wanna pit these two against each other)
and, one bat villain that I WANT the Gargoyles to conflict with is Killer Croc.
because apart from Bane, he could be strong enough to be a match for even Goliath.

aside from the obvious wordplay
(as Joker IS quite fond of Hyenas, having TWO as pets)
Hyena herself is already a Sociopathic Madwoman
who almost always makes snide wisecracks, and cackles like a lunatic.
On a related note, Hyena's brother Jackel also shares her deranged sanity.
though, HE is in more control of himself than she is (often having to restrain his sister in some situations)
If Joker were to copy Batman, and take up apprentices to continue his legacy,
then HYENA would be first on his list of possible Jokers.
Hyena also would prefer working with Joker.
as he wouldn't retrain her more psychotic impulses.

Yeah..a great many people have requested this story to be written (most of which are on Fanfiction.net)
They seem Intrigued and Excited at the idea of a crossover between Batman and Disney's Gargoyles.
I can understand that, as both series takes place primarily at Night
and, deals with Nocturnal Guardians instilling Fear into criminals under cover of Darkness.
Course, the only difference being that Batman is a human in a costumed suit.
and, "Gargoyles" are quite literally stone gargoyles that become flesh at night.
I saw similarities between the two franchises
and, felt it would be suitable if I mixed the two.
afterall..both series can use phrases like: "I Am the Night"

I was excited at the idea of a Batman/MLP crossover, but know that you've mentioned a neat crossover with Batman and a animated show I've never heard of before, I really wanna see it.
