I decided to do more Oban Artwork again. and, decided to start with Maya Wei,as there isn't nearly enough art of her, DESPITE her importance in the series.
This is from the episode "Revelations", Where Maya either pulls an 'Obi-Wan'
OR, Eva/Molly was merely hallucinating her due to the weirdness of Oban itself.
(You be the judge.)
I just like this character, regardless of her minimum appearances.
she's like Sonic the Hedgehog if he were a loving mother
(No, seriously. she IS. I checked her personality traits.
she LOVES racing, and mocks danger. All she needs is BLUE hair, and she's Sonic.)
Also, her English voice actress is Nicole Oliver.
(That's right, folks. she's voiced by Princess Celestia.)

This is a PRETTY interesting combo, Metro.
A OSR character with the personality of Sonic the Hedgehog, the sweet motherly voice of Princess Celestia and the wisdom of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Well, the comparison to Sonic is easy to make
when you look at artwork this that I feel is VERY canon:
But also because in my 'Art of Oban' book, Maya's character is described with this line:
"An unrivaled pilot that scoffs at danger."
Exchanged "Pilot", for "Speedster"
and, what you have is a description for Sonic, there.
So..Yeah. That's how I choose to look at Maya: She's Sonic with a toned down attitude.
