I am VERY proud of this piece of art...This is Basicly how I believe Oswald would look like today, Had Walt Disney never lost the copyrights to Charles Mintz In 1928.
Though Many prefer the "Retro" Versions and "Epic Mickey" Versions....I treat this like the rest of my Oswald Projects: I'm doing what Walt Disney would of done had things turned out differently.
Since Oswald was Mickey's "Prototype" (Yen Sid refered to them as "Each a MIRROR IMAGE for the other.") I based Oswald COMPLETLY on Mickey Mouse.
Personally, I think "Ozzy" looked more like a Disney Character HERE than any other image I've seen him in.
and, for the record....this took me a "Sleepless Night" to finish.

This is really good, It really is a shame Walt Disney was swindled like that by Charles Mintz, but at least Walt's company were able to get the copyrights to Oswald, it's sad Walt died before it happened, but I'm sure he's able to truly Rest-In-Peace now that Oswald is back in the family.

well, nobody else was doing it.
so, I decided to try my hand at drawing Oswald, had Walt KEPT the rights to the character in 1928 from Charles Mintz and Oswald became Disney's Icon TODAY.
I think this is how Oswald WOULD of looked like.

It is a good draw XD and i knew that and man he would be famous XD but then mickey wouldn't exist if that didn't happen it was because of oswald mickey exists XD but yes some people have tempted to modernize oswald but they havent given him mickeys style shorts and shoes which were really creative XD

Actually Mickey could still exist if Oswald stayed at Disney since 1928 , but he made had been in place of Goofy or Horace Horsecollar and Oswald has Mickey Place while Mickey would been taking Goofy or Horace place

that is true if Universal didn't start they might have made mickey or oswald but i don't know because they would look too similar. I believe Walt wanted to have the main character to look they way mickey and Oswald does small and have goofy sidekicks to help him along the way. I don't know if oswald was around mickey would of been made but it would be could if they did in the beginning ^U^

I run an Oswald-Related DA Group, so I ought to.
all joking aside, YES...I do know their "brothers"
I also know all about Oswald's "Girlfriends" from 1927-1928
and, how Oswald was MEANT to be Walt Disney's "flagship character"
up until Charles Mintz swindled Walt of the copyrights, forcing Walt to create a NEW character from scratch: Mickey Mouse (yep, ol' Mick was "born" from Tragedy)
