For quite some time, I (along with many) have often wondered just what sort of time period
that 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' takes place in.
Like many, we like to think that it's sometime in Medieval Times..or, Early Renaissance.

But, every once in awhile, Episodes give as visuals that leans towards a Pseudo-Modern Age.
I am speaking of things like Trains (some that run on their own power, and aren't just "pulled" like a carriage)
microphones, film projectors, factory complexes, and finally..HELICOPTERS.

Seriously, though. It's getting so that on a show where Magic is a pretty normal thing.
seeing everyday stuff like this is no less amazing.

In-Universe, I imagine that Technology is a new thing. and, one that is picking up.
Just look at the image here. Twilight looks amazed to see a pony-driven helicopter
(I know that she may mostly be amazed at how she was nearly hit by one..
but, out of context, she looks mesmurized by the contraption itself.
for all we know, she may want to disassemble one just to see how it works. she IS a scientist, afterall.)

What's next? Cars?..Spaceships?!..THE INTERNET!!?
