Everybody's doing it..EVEN with their OC's. REVERSE FALLS.the Fanon AU where characters personalities are flipped, and reversed.
As I based my Reverse Falls AU on 's concept (Where Pacifica is a hippie, and keeper of Journal 3. )
It was fairly easy to reimagine the 'Reversed' version of my Eugene Portlan.
In this universe, Eugene comes from a military background (US Marine Corps, specifically.)
His personality is a complete flipside of his prime universe counterpart.
being Stern, and Aggressive rather than 'Timid, and Good Natured.'
(Though, despite his gruff exterior. he has a softer side that Pacifica has seen, and strives to bring out more.)
Like his counterpart, Reverse Eugene is ALSO aware of the weirdness in Gravity Falls.
and, being a soldier, has been spending his time preparing to deal with any hostile creatures.
(Basically, Eugene is similar to Ford Pines when it comes to knowledge
Β of the Paranormal, and the Supernatural.)
ALSO, like his counterpart. Reverse Eugene is a talented artist, and engineer.
Only due to his military background, has much more refined tech than his poverty stricken counterpart
(who can only cobble things together using old parts that he finds in the junkyard.)

I love how RF Gene's style and character contrasts with his Prime counterpart. It really shows how different RF Gene is from Prime Gene.
I have a nickname for him: How about "Sheen"? You know, just to tell "Sheen" and Gene apart and to avoid confusion through their names.

That is absolute coincidence. as when I reworked Reverse Eugene's hairstyle,
I simply took the standard Eugene's hair, saved it at the base, and lifted it upright a bit
(I even left a link the the description for others to view, and compare.)
Hmm..I thought this looked too good. Oh, well. Wendy's got dozens of brothers.
I doubt anyone will notice the difference.

It was not until recent months that her brothers have known names: Marcus, Kevin and Gus . At least there are appearance sections to show their slight differences.
Your works is probably the first one of Reverse FallsΒ that doesn't bring any disturbance to me.

I don't look at that much Reverse Falls content,
so I don't really know what you mean by "disturbance."

Oh, thank goodness. none of the three brother look EXACTLY like my OC.
So, my 'originality' is still very much intact.
I feel the resemblance to any of Wendy's relation,
may just stem from my choice to give Eugene red hair.
(a fact that even when I posted the Gravity Falls version of Eugene, I expected from the fans.
Β but, even then I expected them to accuse Eugene of being a "DipperxWendy" child, or something.)

Sorry, I meant to say "doesn't disturb me". Some other popular Reverse Falls works are often weird to me because it is really hard to change the impression of protagonists and antagonists, but it doesn't matter if the character is minor or, in your case, OC.

Well, I've grown to wrap my head around Dipper and Mabel being villains,
since Pacifica and Gideon are the new main characters of the AU.
But, for the most part..the AU is of personalities reversed,
which I guess sometimes leads to moralities being shifted as well.
With more work, the appeal was that in the standard version,
I penned a friendship, and later love story between a rich girl, and a poor boy with talent.
With Reverse Falls, it's the seemingly impossible bond
between a Hippie Girl, and a Soldier Boy.
(In that sense, the character conflict was also reversed.
Β from Pacifica overcoming her selfishness, to Reverse Eugene overcoming his aggression.)
But, thanks for understanding. You sound very open-minded on things.
