Description
I just know I'm going to catch hell from any fans of Quicksilver,as well as critics of Stan Lee's 'Just Imagine' series.
But, screw it. I'm doing this, anyway.
Once upon a time, Stan Lee partook in an 'exercise'
where he wrote his own versions of popular DC characters.
Some were plenty weird. But, THIS is one that I particularly liked.
Stan Lee's version of The Flash was 'Mary Maxwell'
as teenage girl who after being injected with Hummingbird DNA,
gained Super Speed, and after he father's murder, foiled a 'Grand Time Travel Theft' plot.
(So, yeah. this has Stan Lee's "Marvel" hands all over this.)
Say what you will. But, compared to Marvel's own speedster, Quicksilver.
I think I prefer Mary Maxwell, over Pietro Maxinov.
If only because with Quicksilver, one can never be sure if he's 'on your side.'
Oh, sure. He's been a member of the Avengers.
but, he was also part of Magneto's Brotherhood of EVIL Mutants, too.
(Make up your MIND, Pietro. Are you a Hero, or a Villain?!)
'Just Imagine' may be a weird series.
with some heroes probably best NOT touched by Stan Lee.
BUT, I must admit. Stan Lee's version of The Flash was one of the better ones,
and was quite the fun read, all things considered.

Never. Given as Stan lee made this FOR DC.
So, while given the "Marvel Touch", this still counts as a DC Comics Elseworld.
(But, let's be real here. Anything made by Stan Lee is "Marvel" to the core.)

(o true. I met him at my first and recent comic convention. He didn't talk cause I was just taking a picture with him, but he did say hi to me. I still can't believe it. Stan Lee said hi to me. >~<

I do hear that Stan Lee is a nice, and friendly guy.
(AND, may be superhuman, given his remarkable longevity.)
I know he at the very least DID change the Comic's Code back in the day.
Having it chill out about sensitive subjects (Such as how at the time they wouldn't approve
of an Anti-Drug Spider-Man Comic simply for HAVING Drugs in it, despite it's positive message.)

Although he wasn't too happy on Spidey being killed off on his birthday for Superior Spider-Man. I mean he wasn't pissed, but wasn't too happy either. Also I saw his cameo in the new Guardians and loved it XD

I can't imagine he was.
I mean, Stan Lee may've created (and, co-created) ALOT of Marvel characters.
but, Spider-Man remains his best work, and is pretty much "his baby."
(It's like saying Bob Kane would be displeased if DC had Batman killed off.)
Stan Lee even stated that Spider-Man is like his 'alter-ego'
and, let's face it. Spidey IS the face of Marvel Comics when it comes down to it.
I also recall Stan Lee disliking the "Marvel Knights" series.
feeling the intense violence was tasteless, or unnecessary.
(Least that's what I think.)
Get used to seeing Stan Lee cameos.
I think it is now mandatory for him to appear in EVERY Marvel Film in some scene.
(I guess to make the point that in a way, Stan Lee is "King of Comics."
or, the 'Walt Disney' of Superheroes who set the bar for everyone else in the industry.)

They're actually ribbons on the helmet
(And, I think this whole comic literally takes place in the 1960s.)
STILL. It's better than Stan Lee's version of Batman.

Maybe the characters that are "best NOT touched by Stan Lee" could be rewritten by you, make them better, relatable and realistic.😄

Stan Lee working with DC? This must be before he founded Marvel Comics.

I actually feel like checking this out! It is always great to see DC and Marvel working together instead of against each other. I want to see how Stan Lee would write these characters. So far, the Flash seems pretty cool. I agree though, Quicksilver is never always the good guy. He is like Catwoman. He played on both sides but can never decide which side he wants to be in. He has always been a bit of a d!ck in the comics which make it difficult to like him. If it wasn't for the Days of Future Past and Apocalypse scenes with Quicksilver in slowmotion, I doubt most people would even care about Quicksilver.

I don't think Marvel and DC has that most animosity.
In some Documentaries, Stan Lee admitted to had been close friends
with Bob Kane, was was even present at the premiere of 1989's 'Batman' film by Tim Burton
(Stan Lee even said his greatest regret was than Bob Kane
never lived long enough to see Sam Rami's Spider-Man film.)
Also, there is Stan Lee's partnership with Jack Kirby.
who is now most well known for his work on DC.
And, well. Marvel and DC had done some crossover projects before.
(And, I don't just mean that Marvel vs. DC thing.)
I showed you the Spider-Man/Batman crossovers.
and, there was even a Batman/Captain America one done, too.
I believe Lee respects the Comic Book industry as a whole.
and, doesn't show much favoritism to Marvel only.

I read a lot of their DC/Marvel crossovers. Batman met Daredevil, Punisher went toe-to-toe against Batman. He lost but still put up a good fight. Superman and Spidey teamed up. There were a lot of DC/Marvel crossovers. In fact, they even created their own universe known as Amalgam Comics in which they would take a character from each world to make one new character. The most well known is Dark Claw, who is a merging of Batman and Wolverine, which is awesome. Next we have Clark Kent the Super Soldier, who has similar powers to Superman, but is a symbol like Captain America. We have Amazon who is a merging of Wonder Woman and Storm. We even have Doctor Strangefate, who is a merging of Doctor Fate and Dr. Strange, but with Charles Xavier being the host.

I must admit, I like THIS fusion a bit better.

I can't argue there. Both are powerless yet fight things that are way out of their leagues. Also, wasn't your profile picture Ant-Man before?

(chuckles)
I'm laughing as I already answered this question the first time you asked.
(Don't worry, I'm not mad. I just find this situation funny.)
It was Starlord from Guardians of the Galaxy, not Ant-Man.
(but, given how 'small' avatars are, I can understand that mistake.)
Another reason the Batman/Captain America fusion works out well,
is that in reality, Batman's 'batsuit' was custom made from WayneTECH gear meant to be used by the military.
All that body armor meant to resist gunfire,
was all intended to be used by soldiers to keep them alive on the battlefield.
(But, as Lucius Fox said: "The board of directors didn't think a soldier's like was worth 100 grand.")
So, technically Batman and Capt. America have the same gear.

Once my friend responds.
He may be asleep, so you might need to wait until tomorrow.
But, I will tell you this much about him. He REALLY likes The Punisher,
and me and him have conversed alot about Batman in the past.
(Particularly the Arkham Series. He's really hopeful for "Arkham: Insurgency.")

Yeah. I also love the Punisher. My profile picture is inspired by it a little. Punisher likes to wear a black shirt with his logo, while covering it with a leather jacket. Same for mine. I know Batman would win but it would still be amazing to see Batman and the Punisher actually go head on in a fight. With only 2 hours of prep time.

Given how there is little difference between The Punisher, and Red Hood/Jason Todd.
I would rather see Punisher and Red Hood facing off a bit more.
If only to see who is more of a ruthless badass with firearms.
(In all likelihood, Frank would "take the whiny kid to school.")

Well, I would say that the Punisher would take that one. Just because Jason was trained by Batman, doesn't mean he can also win in every fight. In fact, I even think Tim Drake could hold his own against Jason Todd. However, a showdown between Jason and Damian would be interesting though. His rage is his weakness. The Punisher is also very smart. He took on so many enemies more stronger than he was. He even defeated Wolverine for crying out loud! Jason took on Deathstroke and lost terribly. The Punisher is very well prepped when it comes to his enemies, or anyone he ends up fighting. He knows what weapons he would need and what gear he would need to use. In other words, he is Batman, but his opposite. Both are dark vigilantes who suffer from a trauma that changed their lives which was loosing their family members and knew the world needed them so they became who they were and fought to put an end to the criminal underworld. Only difference is that Batman doesn't kill his enemies (Except Batfleck and Flashpoint Batman) and has much more heavier high tech gear that got him out of every tricky situation he was in. Batman cares about his enemies well being and still believes that they can be given a second chance, while the Punisher doesn't believes in second chances and decides to murder every criminal in existence simply because he hates criminals and enjoys inflicting pain on criminals. Jason's rage would make him vulnerable to the Punisher which would also be his downfall. Also, I do love Red Hood since he is one of my favourite DC superheroes but just because you love a character, doesn't mean you must assume they would always win. People need to look at facts. Take Doctor Fate and Doctor Strange. Doctor Fate would win against Doctor Strange since he has every knowledge of the mystic arts and sorcery while people will vote Doctor Strange all because he has a terrible movie.

Even with all his training from Batman, Jason still has one major flaw: He's an Immature Kid.
Take his entire character on Arkham Knight for example.
he was suppose to be working with Scarecrow, but was constantly going rogue.
Ignoring Scarecrow's well founded advice, and doing his own thing.
which (of course) led to his ultimate downfall.
That whole Cloudburst Battle was proof of that.
Scarecrow knew what Batman's strategy was, and TRIED to tell Jason.
BUT, Jason wouldn't listen. he was all "I'M NOT WAITING ANYMORE!!"
My god, he was like that kid that didn't get that toy that he wanted,
and was throwing a tantrum because of it.
Now, Frank Castle, however. Is like Jason WITHOUT this flaw.
He is calm at all times, and is above all patient.
(He is like Batman if he was more lethal. Or, to be more accurate: Flashpoint Batman.)
In a Duel between the two, Jason would just lash out angrily.
while Frank would take his time, and then strike once Jason gave him an opening.
Really?, you thought the Doctor Strange movie was "terrible?"

I agree. As I said, I would much rather see Jason fight Damian.
Okay, not terrible, but I do believe it was one of the weakest MCU movies. The humor was just too forced. It was so forced that I couldn't take this movie seriously. At least in Spider-Man where there is humor, it is there at the right time. In Doctor Strange, there is constant unnecessary jokes and clumsiness. I honestly thought the library scene where Doctor Strange was stealing the books from Chang using the portal was the only scene that made me laugh. Also, the villain was a weak choice. They pretty much followed the same arc as the Doctor Strange origin story but instead of this eye guy, it was Mordu falling into corruption and chose to work with Dormammu in order to be the only Sorcerer to live after being rejected the role as Sorcerer Supreme. They couldn't even expand Strange's powers a little. The pros I have with the movie were the library scene, bargaining scene and the mirror dimension scenes.

Yeah, Stan Lee once did work for DC Comics
(he was even close friends with Jack Kirby, who created Darkseid.)
He, and Jack both created alot of Marvel classics,
such as the Fantastic Four, and Thor.
