it's a harpoon, specifically! i tried to stay water themed while being a little different, i saw a lot of aquamarines with tridents and i wanted to make mine stand out!

If I had any artistic skill, I would include the whole trident thing for my Gemsona based upon my birthstone, but be extra clever in her way of fighting, she would be born in the Kindergarten and like Amethyst be found by Rose Quartz, she would learn how to wield a sword by Pearl, but because she's a bit of a wild child she would have a more unpredictable fighting style, she would also fight with the trident like a spear but it can also turn into a blaster in order to accommodate her cutlass she received from Rose, have a little pirate flair
