Description
This was one of my smaller, quicker pieces. It is a portrait of a friend in real life, made up of animals that people associate with her or that she identifies with. I study many different animals when creating these sculptures; here's a list of what went into this hybrid:Dolphin (striped)
Sea lion
Seal
Otter
Cat (just the eyes, really)
Various aquatic dinosaurs
Ceramic sculpture fired to earthenware temperature and painted with oil paints.
