Description
Well, it's been a while since I've done any KH related fan art, so I felt it was about time to something about it!! X3 I swear though, Sora's hair is a nightmare!!! I spent a whole hour just trying to perfect it. I did pretty well on his outfit, on the whole. Geez, why did Tetsuya Nomura-sensei need so many zippers though? Riku hardly has any! XP Well, you can't please everyone. For those who don't know, the OC on the right is Lucia. I know her outfit blends too well with the background, but that's the way her outfit is. And for those who noticed her hairband, there is a reason as to why she wears it, so no nasty comments. (And yes, to all people who have seen the original Lucia outfit, you would have realised it is different, but I decided to go through with a wardrobe change because the original was starting to nag me with all the different colours she had, which made her look *coughs*Mary-Sue*coughs.)
The BG I am probably most impressed in though. I find it really tricky to actually sit still and manage to do something like this. It was inspired by the "End of the World" in the original KH, but I added pillars 'cuz the two of them needed something for them to sit/stand upon. The big purple things are meant to be clouds (even though they don't look it
Allright, now that I've finished ranting about my work, I'm off to study for my exams!

Incredibly nice job! I think this is one of the nicest pieces I've ever seen you use. You did a very good job with the markers, and did very well with the poses and the landscape--and I could tell those were clouds.
For the water, I would have used a second coat of the whiteout that you used, since it's a little weak and crunchy looking as it is (the scan picks up that texture) or white paint.
Also, it's a well known fact Tetsuya Nomura has a zipper obsession.

I have to agree with you. I find this probably my best piece I've done so far. The water does look quite crackly, but I still need to get use to using the white paint. And have a cookie for guessing what the clouds were right.
Yeah, I also knew how much he likes his zippers, but that still doesn't stop the fact how annoying they can get when drawing them! X3

drawing them photorealistically is a nightmare, which is why I never bother--even in technical drawing. As long as it's zipper-ish, it works for me. You gotta feel sorry for those poor programmers who had to render them all the time.

Yeah... Then again, a fair majority of them are Disney characters, so they're pretty easy to render.
