EDIT EDIT: Please, refrain from further critique on this piece. Not in an "omg I'm sensitive, don't crit me!" way, but in a "this piece is five years old and I've done much better work since then" way. If I could redo this piece entirely I would, but at the moment I lack the patience and I suggest you view my most recent work (seeing as this is unfortunately the most popular piece on my gallery, but I'm keeping it for historical purposes.) Wow, this took a while to color. I hate the BG but it was the most creative crap I could come up with... n_n

This is the first time I have drawn all 7 Mew Mews together in one pic! I colored it on Paint Shop Pro X and I'm fairly happy with it. But I still hate the BG and Purin doesn't stand out at all... The lines look really think because I used an 05 micron pen. The 05's are cool because you get a nice detailed line and it doesn't look sketchy when you draw with it. But still it makes the pic look like I drew it on Paint or something... lol.

Overall this took a while, combined with the lineart and the coloring. I had to draw Zakuro's leg thin gin on PSP because I forgot it in the original lineart... sobs... o well, good enough. I'm also nervous about Ringo's socks, I dunno if they are supposed to have those ridgy lacey thingies on them. Well, it looks kinda cool anyways. n_n

I'm pretty anxious that I'm gonna get a ton of comments/faves on this one. It's the 3rd time I've digitally done a TMM pic... better than I can do with traditional media. I hope y'all like it! Enjoy!

EDIT: Well, I've been getting a lot of comments along the lines of "ZOMG I didn't know there were 7 Mew Mews!!!"... so if you guys are confused about who the one in red is, she's Ringo Akai/Mew Ringo. Her DNA is fused with that of a Humboldt penguin and she only appears in the Tokyo Mew Mew PS2 video game, which is currently only released in Japan. She is also in a few extra stories in the manga in chibi form (volume 6 and, and a short description of herself is provided by Mia Ikumi in volume 6 (I think) as well. I hope that answers your questions.
