I thought Dashie was being really mean to Flutters in that episode. I preferred their interactions in Hurricane Fluttershy.

Well, amongst her friends, AJ had a job she couldn't leave, Twilight was with Spike and on a mission, Rarity was working with crafts (not to mention she would absolutely refuse), and perhaps you could make an argument for Pinkie... but you know, Pinkie. Yeah, Fluttershy was working the petting zoo, but really, the ewes could do the work of cheering people up on their own. I'm sure you could say RD could have audience members try to challenge her, but it would really suck for the crystal ponies that got crushed by her and would perhaps work against the goal of putting them in good spirits.

Yeah, I'm sure if RD went all out on Fluttershy all day it would end poorly for the gal. The good news is, if you're skilled at contact sports, you know how to make "big hits" while doing minimal damage, especially to those that couldn't handle it under truly competitive circumstances.
