got pretty frustrated with it because it looked more felinelike than ponylike. Just worked the face over for probably like an hour, finished the inking, threw on some base colors (which i need to saturate a bit), drew a simple blue sky green grass background, and sketched up some bunnies. I can probably finish it tommorow if the track meet doesn't take too long (shading takes like 1-3 hours, probably more towards 1 for this since it's so stylized, then i gotta ink the bunnies, and then finally add some butterflies and top it off with some color balance adjustments.)

Yeah, I guess it could've come across as feline-esque, though imo anthro doesn't have much difference in many features except for paws, nose, and ears.
(Basing this on the image you linked me) Not sure if le pones have noses normally, but the nose that you drew in seemed kind of feline-like. I don't think the ears on le pones reach that high, now that I think about it. Other than that, though, I thought it looked good so I'd like to see that...though the background will make my masculinity cry

Well yeah, that's what I changed and couldn't quite get right , the nose (even now it feels off, but it is probably my best try). I think i may have made the ear a bit smaller too, don't remember.

Well, I was all in favor of no nose at all, since I think le pony nose would look more piglike, which wouldn't look too good to me.

I think it can be cute if done right, but it's hard which is why it took me so long. Even now it is sort of piglike so I dunno. I'll have to judge it after i shade it.

Well it's cute in style, since there's little detail with the nose in the show other than two dots. If les detailes came in, though, we'd probably end up looking into nostrils, which would be no bueno.
