Lol that's the same reason why I haven't inked that "Unexpected Embrace" sketch. I'm afraid I'll mess it up while inking it. xAx

Aw, bummer...you did so well though! XD; I used to hate it until I figured out exactly HOW to do it (like where the light would cast a shadow and such) and now I love it~ I haven't done soft cel shading in a while though...I'm going to recolor (or at least re-shade) "AT - Get Back Here!" because it dawned on me about half an hour ago that the reason why it looked off to me was that I had forgotten to shade Naruto and Nozomi to match the surrounding scene. In other words, they are in broad daylight while the background is bathed in the glow of a setting sun. Doesn't match. Needs fixing. Badly.

Well, I didn't notice it at first either...probably because I'd been working on it for hours and just wanted it finished. XD; Although I do remember saying to myself "okay, you've got to do this, this, this, and this, and the shading". Apparently I forgot what type of shading I was supposed to be doing. >.>
