Well, today was a rather breezy-day, and I randomly put this little thing together since this morning.
I wanted to do something simple for the inclusion of X in Mega's super-tastic Final Smash, plus the other dudes-- by golly, they even included Hub-n-Geo, no way~! ( * c*);
Though I could've extended on this to show where were the other Megas, but I may save that for another time or just keep it in my head for much-much later uses. Besides that, I just felt like drawing some bit of X-n-Zero talking again.
As for that card in Zero's hand, you could say it's like a semi-invite for certain roles in the Smash Program. In this case, I meant for it to be like a chip of some sort that those Mega's in the Final Smash are given to really become a part of the little Megaman and his fight. Or... something like that, it's hard to explain. ( > ,<);

But hey! That just means X and Zero can meet up more often now, even if they have two completely different roles in Smash.
They just won't have to travel as much this time.

And boy I wanna see how other Megas get this thing. It's quite something though, I was really waiting for Super Adaptor but apparently not. This though is just big plain love letter to Mega from Nintendo. (~>Β΄A`<~)
This also makes me think about how X and Zero must have been around with Project X Zone's events BTW. But I totally love your interpretation on all this, I tend to imagine it like this as well now, hahah-

True-true, it really wouldn't been cool still to see Mega in that Adapter in all this HD-goodness, but perhaps they could make a trophy for it? ( ' ,');
And yes, I was also thinking about that current-thing for those two! Perhaps Zero, being pretty able on his own, means to tell X that he can hold out on his own while X goes off to help his brother over at Nintendo. It's funny how sometimes we see some things the same way. ( ~> ,<)~
(Other than that, it seems Nintendo got Volnutt/Trigger off the moon!)

I noticed that- makes also sense in context when you realize that Volnutt qualifies due being in "Megaman 64". But still, so much love!
