Might be a good time to say that my drawing grip was immediately lost after having watched the Treehouse Stream yesterday.But not due to the characters left in my self-pushed Challenge that weren't unlocked at all, but for something else. ( o 3o);
So~ I got the Special Smash 4 3DS Demo, and I will probably be poking at that... for a very long time, until the WiiU version comes about.
That being said, I was screaming to the top of my lungs when I saw the codes pop-up in my e-mail last night, and I will be totally enjoying every moment with dear lil'Rock as we both polish up our grips before December! ( ; v; )
(For the buddies who don't know, the demo only has five Smashers available for play: Mario, Link, Pika, Mega, and Hi.)
I felt like it's been a teeny while since I've drawn Megaman, I missed his face.
I had intended to draw Mega in that adorable formal wear for this, but then the first attempt I had looked rough since my drawing grip is loose again. It was only later this afternoon that I managed to find a decent hand over my pen to draw this second try. While the backdrop itself is supposed to resemble the E-Shop, I meant to (by fuddled memory) make those drops you get when you're downloading a thing from said E-Shop.
Really, I also made this random pichur to for-no-reason talk about how adorable Megaman walks when he's carrying a crate.
I mean, how can you even make carrying crates look cute? He sure showed me~! He practically skips when he runs with one!
Fuu~! Really, this bit of news made my day. Now then, if I suddenly seem a little less active than usual, it's not because of the thing I was moping over yesterday-- though, I'd like to talk little about that for now-- but because I might be playing many fights on that Smash 4 demo. Apologies if that occurs!

I think ya could have put those "bead ropes" on the "Smash Drops", maybe it would have looked closer to your depiction of them from the E-Shop, but just a suggestion-
But daw, this has me smiling, it's just the good-feel pic that captures well the great feeling of finally receiving the bought "gift"... I'm a veteran due many digital purchases from before. (And you just love to draw Rocky, is he helping Mr.E-Shop?

Teehee~ But you should have heard my house when I was downloading those codes, it was like the first Smash days all over again. I just had Rock here since he was the one that hyped me the most as this was happening, not to mention how he was built to help out anyway. How adorable of him~!
Anywho~ The good thing being that we both got the demo's, no? Helps to curb the anticipation before the true releases.

And how neato~! I know it must be a little bummy that we can't play every person in the demo, but it is just a demo after all. So it's gonna be limited. Regardless, you do have something to fiddle with whenever you're bored, no?

That´s great! I hav´nt drawn anything in ages, so i guess when there is a character who gives enough inspiration to draw him, you should really use it. °_° And you´re drawing him so cute, there can´t be enough of him. <3

Yeah, he said he didΒ΄nt need them, and in a joke we said he can give them to us, and that he did it was quite nice. IΒ΄m happy there are some characters i can get along with, but i am so happy we decided to get the wii u version, i played a few rounds with the characters and i still have no idea which buttons stand for what action (randomly pushing shiny buttons ftw!).Β IΒ΄m lucky enough i figured out to jump with the Y button. XD

No seriously you'd think they'd put Kirby in the demo. I mean they did put Mario, Link and Pikachu!

Yea~h, not sure why either.
My guess is that Mr. Sakurai doesn't wanna spoil the Kirby hats for us, perhaps to keep his little puffball buddy nice and fresh for when the real game comes out. But it will only be a few weeks until the 3DS version, so you'll get your Kirby soon!

But I guess that makes sense.
But at the same time Hi's Kirby hat is the only one that's a mystery. The other playable characters have rather obvious Kirby hats.
Oh and the Mii's their hat is a mystery as well.

Sometimes, I try to stray away from certain spoiler-vids that GameXplain has, so I could at least have some surprises when the final product comes onto shelves. I've seen Hi's, but I won't say anything so you can check it out yourself when the time comes.
Oh yeah! Mega looks so adorable with the Tanooki ears, and I'm sure once I can get my hands on Kirby, I would love to see how the puffy would look with both the leaf-n-helmet~!

Honestly I'm suprised that there aren't many fan art of the two copycats. I've only seen one, and I find it so weird. I mean it probably doesn't make as much sense as the whole Pit and Mega thing (which I really love as well~) but you'd think there would be a lot of Kirby and Mega pictures. After all there aren't that many copycats in the world of gaming, at least not ones that are as popular as these two.

I think the copycat thing could make enough sense if people just stopped and looked at the picture, at least compared to Pit-n-Mega where you'd need to know that ol'cartoon was the reference. Kirby and Mega are probably the most well-known copycats that come into mind, so maybe I'm just not looking hard enough for the pics of those two together.
It would be kyuut though, they'd look like a little boy with his favorite plushy toy~

Also the more I think about it, the more perfect Mega and Kirby's friendship seems. Both of them have an angsty guardian (Proto and Mr.Godtier) and both of them have a cocky rival (Fishface and 3Dee)! It's just perfect! *rolls around*

Update on my search for Mega and Kirby art!
I searched through Tumblr for 15 minutes and I've only found 3 pictures. And they're almost identical. The conclusion: it exists but you're most likely gonna find SSB stuff.

Thank you~ It's strange how guilty I felt when I didn't even doodle this kiddie for at least a week, my grip got all failing.
That Platinum Club Nintendo reward really does make up for the other ones they had that I personally found lacking. Smash can really get my hopes up at times like this.
