One day you decided to go visit Kiku, and acquaintance of yours. You have only known him for about a few weeks though, he was a strange quiet man...Either way he was generous. "Kiku, I know you're in there," You said as you knocked on him door.

You heard a quiet sigh then the door opened, revealing a tired Japanese man. "What is it, ____-san?" he yawned lightly.

You felt heat rise up on your face, but quickly shook it off. "Oh...I was wondering if we can go see the sakura trees together...?" You shyly asked him.

He thought about it for a moment the stepped aside to let you in the house. "I guess we can in a minute," he mumble. "I need to wash up first."

He made tea the fastest he could and gave you a cup. When you started to drink the tea he left the room to go get dressed for the outside. "Okay, I am ready," he told you once you finished the cup of tea.

You nodded and stood up. "I can deal with it later," he mumbled when you tried to put the cup away.

You slipped on the coat you were wearing earlier as Kiku opened the door for the two of you. A thanks was given to him while he closed the door and joined you. It was perfect timing, the sun was about to set and wind was a soft like breeze.

You both walked through streets getting some petals on your heads here and there. You felt relaxed walking with him, but he was just so quiet that irked you in a way. "Hey, Kiku may I ask you something?" You looked over to him.

He turned his head slightly to face you. "And that will be..." He trailed off.

"I was wondering, why are you so quiet?" You asked with nervousness in your tone.

"Well...I have nothing to say sometimes and I know when is a good time to speak," he replied and gave a small, gentle smile.

Your voice scratched out an oh and you two kept walking. The sun was setting even more now and it was dusk. "____-san, should we start heading back?" He asked gently tapping your shoulder.

Your body jolted slightly because you just had to be easily scared. "Ah...Yes, yes we should," You softly smiled.

Both of you started to walk back to Kiku's house and when you got there he asked if you wanted to stay the night and you agreed. You never knew that someone so quiet can be so talkative.
