Looks like Judy found the nugget of wholesomness in an ocean of lewdness, the diamond in the rough, as it were. An image of herself that encapsulates everything that her character stands for. An image free of depictions of oversized body parts and out of character Lewdness. Practically the most perfect piece of fanart ever. Yes my friends, Judy hops found an actual normal art piece on deviantart. Of course I am speaking In jest, as if this website was meant for one thing and one thing only, the lewds aren't the only thing that deviantART is known for. There are millions of completely safe images on this website regarding characters of all types, but at the same time, there is a lot of the other stuff.
For those of you out there who are animated characters in a movie or TV show, you might cringe at the prospect of individuals finding you alluring enough to be adequate subjects for the production of less than family friendly material. But fret not, The initial shock you might experience regarding this repeated violation of your likeness will soon fade into a mild annoyance. After this, the prospect of searching for images of yourself on this website will no longer make you gag, and stumbling upon one of these images will illicit no more than a raised eyebrow from you, And then, with time you will have no reaction at all. And much like poor Judy here, you will grow numb, and the viewing of lewd fanart of yourself will disturb you no longer
It comes with the territory I suppose.

For this, there is the "show mature content" under settings/browsing. The only reason to search for all and not thinking about using it means she is definitely into what she is seeing.
Well I know what you mean, but to be honest, the ones who have the tick inside it need not to cry "MA CHILDHOOD" when they see something wrong.
By the way I saw many fantastic mature art, which were amazingly drawn, so it is a mixed problem, to be honest.
Mature art commissions mostly pay better from what I heard... And if you want money, and don't care about your soul being crushed to dust you can go down the furry hole all the way... Um... that sounded wrong... but disgustingly accurate at the same time... -.-

You would be right, NSFW stuff absolutely sell the whole lot better. I've done my share of shady works for the coin. So essentially, nothing really surprises me, my only gripe is that sometimes, the quality of the work is abysmal but it doesn't really ruin my day. Seeing a whole bunch of them on the other hand, kind of leaves me ticked off.

This one got me lol I want to be a famous author some day, but man, the idea of people taking my characters and putting them in disgusting and out of character situations just makes me angry, and it hasn't even happened to me yet 😅 I'm not sure I'll ever not be annoyed and creeped out, but I might show it less and less I guess

Think about it this way.
When you publish your characters, and you find fanart depicting your characters being uncharacteristically lewd, just know, they are in fact imposters, posing as you characters. And you tell your characters, in the fictional world, you write them a letter and tell them "Hey, this guy is over here pretending to be you, doing all kinds of nasty things, what are you gonna do about it?" Your character reads this letter from you, your character starts to get mad, they get a party together, A gang of other fictional characters and goes and beat up the imposter!
Yeah, if only it were that easy. I don't know about you, but personally, I get what the Internet is, I understand that if I release something into that world, it's no longer completely mine anymore, and I have to deal with other people, just like, splicing their mindset and/or worldview onto my creation. And the thought of that is a little scary.
Definitely the main reasons why a lot of people don't produce anything original. Which is kind of what I do, making a bunch of fan art until my original ideas are mature enough to handle the world. But I am working behind the scenes to create an original comic that I hope to release sometime soon. And I realize that there will be people that Will lewd my characters (because 90% of My characters are female.) but the only way that I can handle the thought of this happening is keeping in mind that I know who my characters are, and no matter how much smut is produced of them, their character doesn't change so long as I keep writing them as authentically as I can.
Sorry, this was a bit long. But the point is, I wouldn't want an aspiring writer to hesitate because of the gross people that are out there.

Oh, I will definitely write and publish my books, no doubt about it lol I just wish people didn't have to be so nasty about it. Like, if they're gonna be gross they could at least use their own characters 🙄 I'll just have to be careful about searching my characters in the future. Perhaps only look at what fans (if any lol) tag me in, and chew out anyone who tags me in nasty art of my OCs 😂
Also that's awesome that you're writing a comic 😄 I have considered writing one as well, but my stories are too wordy, and my artwork isn't super great or consistent, plus I'm too lazy to draw all those panels lol so I think I'll wind up sticking to novels with some illustrations here and there, like I did with my first book, Shatter 👀 which, btw, i do NOT recommend self publishing 😅 if you can afford an agent get one, or it's going to be extremely difficult to get your comic book on shelves. Unless you're gonna do online publishing in which case I'm not quite sure how that works heh
Ok now I'm writing a lot so I'll just end with yus, I agree that it is inevitable that stinky stinkers will create lewd artwork of my characters--and others--should they ever become famous, and I agree that it shouldn't stop people from being original and writing their own stories/ideas ^-^

Yeah, no doubt. I do notice that it's usually the flavor of the week characters that get lewded, whatever Disney put out recently, or a new show on Netflix that has a pretty girl character in it. Sometimes, that makes me think that my characters would be safe from such things once I think about how famous these characters are. But I kind of found out you don't really need to be that popular for people to make fanart of your characters, if your work just so happens to show up on Pinterest, someone might get inspired from that. After that, it's only a matter of time before the stinky people show up.
I have been wondering which way to go with some of my stories. I do have comics, but I also have some short stories. I recently flexed my muscles and wrote a story about star butterfly fighting nemesis from resident evil. That was fun, and it did give me some ideas as to how to depict action when it comes to writing, which I do have trouble with.

Np, it's always nice when authors help each other out ^-^ yeah I ain't too good with action sequences either lol my editor told me to use short sentences and short paragraphs to make it flow quicker, and not get weighed down by details (which i always add too many of 😂)

Pornyfying characters made for kids in mind is so wrong, it all exposes minors to porn, one can't even google an originally family-friendly character without getting the worst kinds of porn in the first-page-worths of results:/ Especialy since the offenders do all the source tagging to ensure their shit is found (while they don't take any time to tag their clients' OCs at the same time)!
