I had many people on here and Tumblr ask why she didn't just fly away XD

On a more serious note, the reason she didn't is because she was too scared to think of that at the time. She was literally frozen with fear. She may be a powerful pokemon but she's also a child, and has no experience battling other pokemon yet, especially pokemon that have a type advantage over her. It isn't an uncommon response to freeze up when you're terrified.
