Progress on commission 1 of 2 for ~RoronoaGirlTweaking lineart and debating on colors and such. I sorted through some old magazines for reference and used a chick from a Glamour issue from August 2008. Really loved the outfit and for some reason decided to put Robin in it ^^
Looking forward to coloring this one. Hopefully I won't have to change too much, so I'm a little wary on asking for critiques. I'm sure it could use some work but yeah.

I don't think I have enough to warrant using this shiny crit button (but oh how I have wanted to <3), but the only thing I see that needs some improvement really is the left shoulder, it does need to be a bit larger, that whole arm looks smaller then the right side. Also how you have it drawn the right boob looks quite a bit bigger then the left one. How the rest of the body is, minus her turned head, it looks like she is supposed to be facing forward and not a quarter turn. If that was the case then the left side would be smaller but obviously the rest of the body is angled that way

You know, I realized that making her boobs that big has made her head look smaller... I shall fix that. And the shoulders are being tweaked as well. Thank you so much for the crits!

Ok, well, I don't have a paid account so I can't do an official critiquey thing. But! I'll tell you what I think, anyway.
Honestly, it looks pretty good so far. Her left shoulder (the one we see on our right) could stand to be a bit less droopy, I think (or maybe bigger?), otherwise your anatomy is spot on. I think her face looks a little bit too "generic anime girl" rather than Robin, but by the time you get it colored and everything, I don't think anyone will notice much. If you're going to be paranoid though, it's the shape of her left cheek, I think, that's doing it. She has a more pronounced cheekbone that juts out under the eye, then drops down to her jaw and chin. Really, though, it looks nice. I also am kind of a fan of the hair. Her hair is hard to draw, dude! But it looks cute in this. And yes, this is definitely something she would wear. (Also... straps on the cargo pants is love, baby. Love.)
What colors were you thinking of using? The getup seems kind of winter/ autumny, so I'd maybe do some bright oranges and soft browns, or for winter maybe keep to some pastel blues, purples, and whites. That's just me, though, and I've been up since 5 am this morning so I'm probably going to hate myself for this crit when I see it the next time. Oh well. You know that I'm not trying to be mean or make you feel bad or anything, just giving suggestions, right? Right.

I tend to notice these things after the fact lol. I need to go back and flesh out her arms a little more, they don't have any shape to them. I'll try to fix that shoulder too, I was trying to go for a slight angle so that it looks like she's kinda leaning. But I failed at that lol.
Believe it or not, I was also looking at Oda color spreads for her face. I'll see if I can give it a better shape though.
As for the colors, those are good suggestions, I think light shades of purple would be good to use throughout.

Yeah. Well, out and out asking for concrit in big obvious ways is a good way to get me to comment. I also feel less bad about kinda tearing someone's work apart when I know it's still a WIP, because obviously you're posting a WIP in order to get feedback like that- whether you take it or leave it is up to you, but at least you've got it, yanno? 'Sides, you helped me on my pathetic excuse for a fanart, I figure I owe ya one.
