A commission for I'm very happy to finally see the entirely of Team RWBY spend their time on the hypno-pads, and Ruby sorely needed an update to her art from the original version, if I'm being honest ^^

To add a little backstory to this general concept (the details of which are still being worked out) a mysterious and well-meaning space overlord (or overlady?) has a tough time leaving heroes and heroines to their, well, heroic pursuits. Deadly monsters, heartbreak, loss of life and limb (wink, wink); adventuring is dangerous! So she whisks the characters of her choosing away to her magical floating multiverse marble gallery, where time is meaningless and nothing of consequence ever happens and all sorts of other lore-friendly hand-wavey catch-all explanations

After a surprisingly brief orientation, the subjects are directed to step onto the overlady's patented hypno-pads, at which point is suddenly starts feeling really, really good for them to stay right where they are. After they've held their pose for long enough, a protective glossy seal encases them, at which point their minds slip into super-deep, unimaginably-blissful, complete-sensory-deprivation-and-removed-from-time-and-space, all-you-lucid-fools-should-be-deeply-envious-of-this trance. And sometimes they take on the outer shell of a mannequin, because reasons, very good reasons. The hypno-pads are so super-duper magical that these effects can be turned on and off at the whim of the overlady, or any visitors to the gallery. Oh, and while the subjects are encouraged to display themselves in their original heroic outfits, they must be barefoot at all times. That's the only way the hypno-pads can work properly. Honestly.

Anyway, I'll be opening commissions in an official capacity soon, and I'd certainly love to add some of your favorite heroines (or characters in general) to the overlady's gallery! Feel free to send me a note if this sparks your interest
