Information:
In 1954, Godzilla's original incarnation was that of a living natural disaster. While this incarnation of Godzilla still has such traits, he's no dumb muscle, that's for sure. 60 years later, the current Godzilla inhabits Monster Island, alongside various other Kaiju that are kept their for studying and to keep them away from human cities. How exactly did Godzilla end up in his current state? I'll just assume you already know this detail, since who wants to listen to boring old origin stories for characters they already know?
Godzilla, over the years, has made various allies and enemies during his reign as King of the Kaiju. Godzilla has on occasion helped humankind against alien invaders, helped destroy Kaiju that were threatening all of them, and overall became a more mellowed out Kaiju over his lengthy life. On Monster Island, Godzilla's behavior is difficult to study, but for the most part he enjoys sitting on clifftops, overlooking his own Kingdom. So much as a single disturbance is bound to set Godzilla off. After all, Godzilla has his own loyal Kaiju to keep safe, even if he is a tad bit of a jerk.
Godzilla tends to be at peace at Monster Island, but people began to notice an odd pattern. Godzilla's attacks on humanity have become less frequent over the years. Has Godzilla become a full on hero? Has Godzilla simply become too old to even bother? Did destroying human cities become more boring over the years due to the lack of a challenge? Nobody fully knows, but one thing is for sure, today marks the beginning of Godzilla's newest adventure...
Design Notes:
-Godzilla's physical appearance is based on the Showa Era and Legendary Picture's Godzilla Design, notably having the gills of the latter.
