So yeah this is what Entropy is.

More specific story for Entropy and why he's different:

a little complicated, but basically a demon discovered his species and thought that they would be good to turn into monsters to terrorize people with. But because lupents are generally docile by nature, Entropy was and wasn't as effective a tool of chaos and destruction as the demon mentioned earlier expected. He did end up destroying a universe, but he hates himself for it, even though he occasionally brags about it.
He's also the only lupent that can talk.
When he was cursed, he lost several of his anatomical features, primarily his stomach and reproductive systems, therefore he can't digest food or reproduce.

His only source of energy is through passive absorption of environmental heat, therefore heat prey is more important than it would otherwise be.
