since his diet is based on heat absorption and not nutrition he doesn't produce digestive enzymes and he can get energy without "eating" his food. In other words, all he really has to do is sit next to something warm to get energy.
"Food" is pretty much anything that emits heat. The hotter the better. Cold things give him "indigestion" which, considering he can't digest anything, basically just means he gets sick and lethargic. Cold days and ice are his worst enemies. He doesn't understand why humans eat ice-cream.
He thinks it's weird.
If, on rare occasions, he eats something alive, (usually an endothermic "warm-blooded" animal such as a mammal or bird) the lack of digestive enzymes and the presence of gill slits (see the little black spots on his side) there is enough air for the prey to breathe until Entropy has absorbed enough heat energy and releases them. Dead things don't give off body heat so it's good to let prey live another day anyway.

Covered in hair and villi, every part of him is extremely fluffy and soft

except his teeth and claws of course.
