So, I guess Bill can't trust the stairs? Also, I speak from experience when I say how painful it is to fall down a flight of stairs (Though mercifully, it wasn't too steep and I didn't fall backwards).

Bleh, that totally sucks! The worst stair spill I took was when I was like ten years old. I was at a Christmas Party at a friend's house and I had gotten a disposable camera as a present. I wanted to take a picture of all my family and friends so I ran up the staircase to try and squeeze everyone into the frame, but realized I went a little too high up so some people were cut out. Well, I went to take a step down and then I tripped and tumbled down the rest of the stairs, slamming into a TV tray that someone left propped up after eating dessert, and crashing up against the wall. Never saw my mom run faster than when that happened. And I was lucky that I didn't break or sprain anything. I think I only had a few bumps, bruises, and scrapes. It probably also helped that the stairs and the floor were carpeted. But yeah, stair spills=not fun
