Yes, I know. It's... it's so SAD to see her go. I mean, I'm happy that Babs is walking and all, but---Oracle was such an important icon. And now, she's gone.

I enjoyed drawing this while she was still an official character. I adore Babs, but I fear it's going to get me a while to adjust to her new persona.

You and me both. I just finished reading her first issue, and I'm... well a little bit confused and tad unsettled. There's tons of hints about what happened between her being paralized waist down and gaining it back, but I feel off-ended a lot. :/

Well, I suppose we'll just have to see.

I haven't picked up the first issue, and to be honest, I prolly won't be. -///-
I mean, perhaps in the future, when we're around issue 10 or 15, and we know what's going on with this new 'verse, I might think of picking up more books. But right now I'm focusing on Red Hood only.

That's probably is actually a really good idea. Not that I don't want to support some of these new comics, but at least a few of them have me feeling confused and reluctant (e.g. Red and the Outlaws and Teen Titans). I may start waiting these few and maybe others until they get further into the story, just so I'm not left more irritated than itching to know.

Besides, they are probably going come out in graphic novel form eventually. I actually like it that way. I prefer a complete story that I can read at my own pace and that is way easier to store than individual issues.

I want to wait for the trade paperbacks, too; but I also love the notion of owning all the new #1 related to the Batfam! Not that I have them - yet. But I'd like to try.
It's difficult because I don't live in the US, though. But I try.

Well, you probably read about it by now, but Babs is not Oracle anymore... she's back to being Batgirl.
And... well, not to say I'm not happy that she can walk again (she LOVED working on the field SO MUCH, it's nice to see her back in action, like she loved to do); it's just that Oracle was an icon, and she's been erased without second thought. It's sad.

So she can walk again. Does that mean, that "The killing Joke" never happened? Or did they just made up some random ridiculous cure, so that she can be Batgirl again? Anyway, it's sad. I liked her a lot as Oracle. and I also started to like Stephanie Brown as Batgirl. But well...

Well, the issue is not out yet; but they released a preview, and it looks like "The Killing Joke" did happen... but the bullet went through her with no consequences. --__--;;
It's just a preview, though; and it's a dream sequence, to boot. So perhaps it's *all* a dream, and she did, indeed, got cured... I'm confused, though, I don't know what to think, or hope for. ?_?

The killing joke, was damn awesome! i got my hands on it recently Maybe this only the Internet 3.0 thing Bruce mentioned, and she's a digital Batgirl, or something. he said, he wants her to be the ghost in the system. So maybe that's it. Dunno...
