Profile:
After years of disappearance, he began to emerge in a buried cave which was once the powerful Repliforce Base. After the event of the Maverick years he remains isolated in the cave where he tries to recover himself but the damage was far too exceeded and as a result his recovery lasted for 6 Centuries. After he completely recovers, his cyber genetic structure has been recalibrated for unknown reason and as a result what he looks like today although his cape has some resemblance with his Battle Network predecessor and just like Colonel.exe his cape acts as a shield from powerful attacks but it is debated to how his cape got torn and in his statement that it was one of the toughest fight he ever had, possibly his battle against Sigma.

Note: Colonel is now pronounced as (ko-lo-nel). Because he is no longer have the rank of an officer and the Repliforce no longer exist. Plus ZF is short for Zack Fair in honor of my favorite FFVII character of all time and since Colonel doesn’t have a full name.

After returning to the surface he began his journey to find his own purpose after the Repliforce was wiped out and after he resurfaces he saw an old rusty bulky sword laying on the dirt which resembles Angeal Hewley’s Buster Sword. He began to have doubt that the blade would last for few seconds but when he wielded it, its appearance recalibrated as well which earned the name Version2 (V2). Not only his Buster Sword can cut through any objects but with enough concentration he can cut through time and space as well. Unlike his former self, he is no longer serious and hardheaded as used to be but more like the opposite of it, his behavior and attitude is similar to Zack Fair, funny, fun-loving, carefree, overconfident and somewhat emotional between right and wrong which makes X began to think that he’s not even the original Colonel. He is the only ally who helped X in his final confrontation with Sigma and he even settled the score from the last time he was used by Sigma. Colonel is also one of the few who develops a Link just like X which enables him to access to his allies special skills and abilities and the only ally that Colonel produce a Link was with X, and now develops his own buster and in return he gave X the data to make a powerful blade which he analyze to be an effective for the likes of X. He’s also plays as a Bass’s guardian when he was just 2 years old but eventually loses sight of him when Bass was consumed of greed to obtain power whatever means necessary in the age of 15.

Edit:
I tried a lot of concepts for him and believe me guys using the Battle network version does beat the original badass Colonel and if you look closely most of his design are based from the X4 design except for the visor, shoulder armor, because I want to give him an upgrade as he meant to have in the story. The only thing related to Colonel.exe is the cape but I decided to give it a torn up design like Vincent Valentine so he will look as badass as he meant to be. Oh and if you read the profile then yeah, despite his badass appearance his personality and attitude is similar to Zack Fair and his skills are very similar to all Zack’s Digital Mind Wave techniques even the most crazy ones like the cactuar dance but his skills are much more advance than Cloud and Zack combined. Also a notable similar appearance to Zack is his hair and the Buster Sword.

Story:
After centuries of recovery he began to start his own journey along with additional upgrades that would help him to search for a new purpose. Through the next few months he began to changed little by little from the travels he learned and the people he helped out which begins to show the lighter side of him and in most occasions he usually jokes around making funny faces when he’s not fighting. Ironically, back in the Maverick Hunter years he seems to be weak when he was serious but when he changed he seems to be stronger, much even stronger than Zero than he was before but sadly he didn’t met him. On his next travel he met a familiar face which was none other than X. As soon X saw Colonel he prepared to fight him because of their past conflict but it turns out Colonel just wants to hug him and tells him that he had changed and he means it LITERALLY!!! X was confused, dumbfounded, disoriented and most of all SPOOTYHEADED!!!!! He didn’t believe that the old, serious, hardheaded and justice obsessed Colonel has a softer side of him. Not only that Colonel seems to be in equal power with X and Colonels somehow knew his problem about Sigma and he will gladly lend a hand to beat him after all he says that he wants to kick his sorry ass for using him in the first place and he wants to settle the score. After the most intense battle with Sigma X and Colonel both part ways and became close friends than Colonel had ever been with Zero.

After few months since he last saw X he began to work as a Digger and he was the first one who ever rose to the X Rank he was supposed to be in the ZX Rank but he realize that that’s too much work even for him so he stayed in his current rank because he has free time in weekends. And he also serves as tutor to new members in the business and this is where he met Bass an orphan who was adopted by the Digging Organization where his Uncle was once a great digger before he died in an underwater expedition of a sunken ruin. Like Angeal Hewley from Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, Colonel is now Bass’s mentor and also his legal guardian. He taught Bass how to fight like high rank Digger and to cheer him up most of the time whenever he feels down. But the loss of his uncle still traumatized throughout the years. After few years Colonel left the digging business to take care of a personal disturbance he picked up just 2 days when Bass earned the job as a S-Rank Digger in the age of 15 he begins to go mad for power and it is that very day that Sigma is willing to offer Bass all the power he wants through the use of telekinesis and lure Bass to his prison. This is where the Rockman X Reloaded story begins……
