This episode puts Janna 2nd in my favorite side character list. She only appeared in two scenes and she piqued my interest of her as a character.
Though Iโm a bit worried the last scene she appeared in Mewberty. Still awesome though

I think Janna needs her own episode of sorts. I feel like she's a character that should get some more screen-time then just a few jokes and background cameos.

Okay, first off, great job on the drawing.
Secondly, I freakin' love how this show treats relationships...
I know the whole, "crazy harem" trope is so played out in anime now, but in a Disney cartoon?
With a show this insanely creative and fun, seeing A love polygon between Marco,Jackie, Star and little miss freaky here would make for some amazing episodes. Since SVTFOE is basically one big love letter to classic Anime, maybe there's hope for something like that to happen.

Oh, hi. well, I thought i could just slip that by without anyone noticing....should have known better.
Okay, I may be jumping the gun(but what fan doesn't?), but I'm sure a lot of people have noticed the traits that the characters in SVTFOE are all traits that can be found in rom-com animes.
For example, Star has the "magical girlfriend trope", Jackie is the cool, Beautiful first crush, while Janna is kind of like that one mysterious girl that shows up, and turns into a crowd favorite.
It all screams ANIME(to me, at least) and I'm just saying, given the crazy energy of the show, the manic animation, and the great humor and lovable characters, If they do decide to explore more on how marco(The secretly badass dork, also common in anime) interacts with each of the girls, it would definitely be a great homage to the classic anime harem comedies.
It'll be toned down, of course, but I wanna see the show explore and play with the different Girls and the dynamic they have with Marco.

Well, Daron Nerfcy has stated many of her inspirations, not unlike Rebecca Sugar from Steven universe are indeed anime: specifically the likes of Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Dragon Ball. There's most likely inspiration from other ones, but cartoons nowadays have noticeable inspiration from anime overall so that isn't surprising.
About the harem related tropes, though, I'm not sure. It would bloat the series a little, as the relationships would tangle in really complicated ways. This ain't Ranma 1/2(thankfully, that series has a really crappy ending), it wouldn't benefit out of making a love dodecahedron.

But I'm not saying bloating the series on some forced stuff.
Just, you know, maybe a few eps about how marco interacts with each girl.
Like, maybe, an episode in which it's just marco and Janna or Jackie interacting, y'know?
Kinda like what they did for Dipper and Pacifica in "Northwest Family Noir".
But again, I see your point, it may end up proving unnecessary in the shows grand scheme.
But part of me can still dream.

Well, if kept low key and done right, it could be amusing, I can concede that too.
I just rather to see what those characters have ahead of them. Chances are Janna is indeed into Marco, but I feel we aren't done with Tom yet, so anything goes by(I mean, that theory of Star using fake devil horns because she still thinks in Tom would be really interesting to see fleshed out)

Rewatching the episodes when I saw that she was the girl that pet the monster arm and said "I want it to be my boyfriend" I died. Wonder if that was one of the little hints the show gives you like the brief flicker of Glossarick when Star flips through the book earlier that episode or the Gustav episode where one of the pictures shown on the wall, not once but twice, was obviously the same guy except decked out like he was from Canada. The show probably isn't as intense as GF when it comes to hints and hidden images, but they are there sometimes.

Well the tentacle arm DID say that we hadn't seen the last of it, and she seems to be flirting with Marco in some sort of way. So maybe XD But then again this show sometimes fails to keep facts straight, notice Star's lack of Mewburty wings in any occasion besides that one episode. But if Janna doesn't have this weird crush explored in some future episode, I WILL eat my shorts. I'd say my foot, but I kind of need it.

Well, Monster Arm is likely to have a darker role in the story. Of all things it was addressed by Toffee while he was proving himself to be a real, non slapstick threat, so I doubt it's going to come back for comical purposes regarding Janna.

I could kinda see an episode where Star and MArco are fighting monsters, but Janna follows the monsters home because, you know...
And it could be the usuall case of "I like this place, so I'm gonna stay here" scenario when they try to find her...
