ok so this is my first full art (fan art) that is in high detail of everything and im really happy with it .....anyway this peter pan is from Jake and the neverland pirates made for preschoolers and i watch with my little cousins but i couldn't help but draw him hes so cute (the only downside in the show is that his voice is weird) anyway i used lots of ref for this one and i did trace the hands since i suck at drawing hands and after the 50th time i gave up (at least i was honest) anyways heres the normal rundown peter pan belong to Disney and J.M Barrie (both are legends) and enjoymadster

So what do you think makes he different in this version that the original films?

in the movies he is always on neverland.. where as in Jake and the neverland pirates he is never in it (as well as the lost boys) with the exception of one or two special episodes based on pan but is voice is different and it just sounds weird especially when yourr a big fan of the originals

I think I can explain the absence of the Lost Boys. In the Original book, Peter killed them, all because they grew up when they werenβt allowed to.

That is true but this is the Disney version. Not the original story
Regardless it's been years since I've done this work and seen the movie.

The Movie was based on the book. Plus, about 99% of all Adaptations arenβt accurate to the book or the movie at all. There had already been over 100 (thatβs an over exaggeration) Peter Pan movies and 99% of the spinoffs are Tinker Bell movies which annoys me. I find Jake and the Neverland Pirates much more promising than another Tinker Bell Movie.

Yeah. But what about h personality? You know, the fact that he talked responsibly toΒ Jake and his crew, he read the note from Hook, and he was cautious about the pirate traps.
