in my experience, people usually use them for their oc's, others who are dedicated to collecting this type of art, or for his histrias, at the end are designs that are sold for the use that the buyer wants

It is like a type of shuriken, which can be thrown to cut, although it is also used in close combat since the center part is flexible, but when thrown it hardens to make the shuriken effect

These designs are very lovely!
As a small critique though I think the background you've chosen here does a diservice to your designs.
It's a bit busy and somewhat distracting. I suggest something with less patterns or less texture and maybe a light stroke on all of the weapons like you have on the first one.
