Beautiful girl, beautifully shot. I like the somewhat sleepy feel to the shot.

I like this piece! For once in my life I'm going to hold back on a smart-ass comment and admit that this picture is really really nice. The color scehem fell into acid-trip mode, and you got some surreal sort of effect with the camera in the background, but it constrasts really well in the foreground, and your model had a lovely pose. She's also got massive doe-eyes.. Whoah.

Well, that's a first...have I actually stunned you into comic sobriety? If so...well, thanks! Of course, I would certainly hope that by now you know that both your ascerbic wit and devotion to mischievous interpretation are not only welcome, but eagerly anticipated!
Nevertheless, I'll take a candid compliment from you any day!
random notation: you're the third person to remark on the background and while I absolutely did plan that effect (time of day, lens, filtration, etc.), and did a little post work in PS to tweak the colors (and now that I think about it, I think it has more to do with the fact that I took the color out of the model so that the only color in the frame is in the window), it didn't really strike me when I was working on it (of course, can you ever really objectively observe your own work?) Anyway, as I bring this unsolicited ramble to a pointless conclusion, I suppose it goes to show that you can bring a horse to water, but you should never try and blow it's nose!

I understand. Changing the color of images isn't -really- counted as photomanipulation (No matter how many 12 year olds try to insist on photomanipulations), but I've always thought your use of selective color in your work was trippy- And different, too. Made it a little more fun than just some random picture of a person- Which would be boring in my eyes (But then I'm hardly an avid (There's my intelligent word for the day) photographer, and I'm not really as appreciative of photography as I am of say, poetry or prose, or drawing- But I always thought your work was an acquired taste anyway and right now I'm not really sure where I'm going with this.
Oh yeah- Changing color is good, even if it does force people to make remarks on things you'd never have imagined them making remarks on before- And I often lose the objective of my work- Or comments- And sometimes I'll be halfway through a piece and wonder "..Just what the Hell am I doing now?!"
Here endeth ramdble! *nosebleed*

Beautiful! I love the lighting and the excellent background. Really how did you create those circled shapes at the background? Is it a photoshop filter or focus effect! If its real it must be preety difficult to do!

Hey, thanks so much! The circles in the BG were all done in camera...soft focus and diffusion filter on the lens. Thanks!!

Gorgeous. While your talent and your model's loveliness is not in question, I'm guessing the image is just too lovely and soft for Maxim; Perhaps if you splashed a sidebar on there instructing readers how to sew their own wanker back on after a random sexual encounter involving gardening equipment.

Awww..thanks!! (Of course, at the rates they pay their photographers...
well, let's just say it doesn't feel as good as you might expect to be told you're too good for the job...not that I'm basing that on personal experience...). Nevertheless, thank you very kindly!!
BTW...the reattachment procedure is a clutch medical technique to master...up there with performing an emergency tracheotomy with a steak knife!!
P.S. love the fact that you included the errata message!!

More than welcome (heh, that sounds like a story and a half...)
You know, unless you're teasing me and I didn't catch the vibe due to the nature of a comment-conversation, I recall there *was* a "home tracheotomy" article one issue (yes, I read it). Frightening, that; More the idea that the readership would find it amusing/useful than that the editors actually printed it. *has visions of Rosemary's Baby*
PS Heh, I will continue to clutter up comment threads with typo corrections until the day dA produces an editable comment function. I can't sit here, knowing somewhere there is a misplaced modifier or a verb disagreement that was given birth by my verbal midwifery, and not do something about it! Irksome, most irksome.
