Title says: Sausages and Potato saladWhy?
Well. Because in the German version of this, that's what he says: "Gummis?! Is that for real? You bring the sausages, and I'll bring the potato salad!" (when he says "You make the (?? I don't understand this part), I'll bring the chips!" in English version)
I just couldn't resist! I love this scene! He's so... lively! xD And crazy... xD
Ok, I really hate my scanner, it eats the blue and screws the red! I did some afterwork, but the original looks way better, not so grainy... grainy? structured. Whatever.
And you can't see THIS good that I accidentally grabbed the wrong colour at one part of the rock ~.~
My shading looks a bit weird (I tried something different... looks... funny xD strange? *cough*) but in the scan it looks even weirder... the contrasts are too much and... I just hate the scan!! T_T
The background almost killed me... xD"

Gusto was always my favorite gummi. This is a great piece, even with the slight oops on the color for the rock (though it really just looks like a slightly shadowed part of the stone). I watched this show a lot in the 80s and its still a cute, feel-good distraction with some well presented morals that aren't shoved down your throat or presented like the writers thought children had single digit I.Q.'s.

In America, Gummi Bears were first broadcast on the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) Saturday morning block in the mid-80s, before moving to the American Broadcasting Company after being acquired by Disney. They were then paired with The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, and were the opening hour-long show for ABC's SatAM programming.
This was going on, at the same time Disney had DuckTales in syndication, right before the Disney Afternoon came out. That was the Gummi's final vehicle on regular TV.

You drew this so well! The style is utterly perfect and I don't think the colours messed up too badly...though I haven't seen the original XD But I still think it looks good like this.
The background...OHMYGOD, THE BACKGROUND o_o I think you're officially my new hero for managing to draw that in so much detail, especially on such a small piece of paper! (Really, why didn't you find a bigger piece? XD). Seriously though, that background has just blown me away completely o_o I knew you were really talented, but since backgrounds seem to be the weakness of most artists and you produce something like THAT...I'm suddenly realising that I'm friends with artistic genius!

They are, trust me. And I even did some afterwork on this because the original scan was a total mess! the blue was like... ... ... I don't know almost WHITE! -.- well, a very very light blue at least... When I remember, I'll take a photo of the original tomorrow and show you.
