kind of a happy accident that they're called the SUPERnova and they're my SUPER mystery dungeon team lol
petra is pretty mature for her age but doesn't really have a concept of fun. meanwhile elphie of course is all about fun and they eventually balance each other out. i imagine elphie gets petra to finally crack after their gabite exploration. i also imagine they have repeated this character development in each of their lifetimes
