ich liebe solche 'stillleben'. das hier muss ich wohl ΓΌbersehen haben, als du es damals hochgeladen hast.

This is a really interesting one, for me. Exhibited, I think it could hold my attention for a bit
I mean, Its really clean and classic, but it gives me a lot to think more about. I think there is really a lot of depth in it.
It shows clearly abscense of a person lying in the bed. At the same time it shows precense ; a trace of something intimate; personal. The clear metaphor make me question where this person is now. I think the photograph can be read as both a portrait and a self-portrait...
Its not all over there, it is not giving me answers, but it gives me a honest, emotional and clever insights. And it touches me both physically and metaphorically.
I think the use of a empty bed as a representation, and by using personal referances, you manage to create a dialogue between yourself as the narrator and the viewer. Personally, I belive this image gives more to the viewer than if there were a beautiful woman lying in the bed
I think it is more intersting and sophisticated, but still meaningful. Basically, It works better for me conceptually.

I like beds alot, you see, because you can sleep in them. and I think it's important to SLEEP WELL and EAT WELL and TAKE CARE of yourself, right, you see, so this is fantabulous.

Technisch: Ich bin verliebt in die Farben. Genau dieses Blau mit genau diesem Gelbweiss/Weissgelb.
So.
Irgendwie denke ich dabei daran, dass jemand da war, der es jetzt nicht mehr ist. Das ist wohl meine typische Asoziation damit.
Ich mag diese Bilder einfach.

irgendwie ein ganz einfaches bild, trotzdem muss ich immer wieder zurueckkommen und es anschauen, als wuerde ich nach was suchen oder als waere ich dazu animiert, etwas zu finden. interessanter effekt, das gerade die einfachen dinge einen so fesseln koennen. eigentlich hast du dafuer nen fav verdient. mal sehen, ob das in einer woche auch noch so ist.
