Final for my illustration class. The requirement was draw 10 or more figures in an illustration. So I chose one of my new character sets from this year; the Ice dragon and Barefoot knight. Versus the not-so-wonderful princess and her cohort of knights.I will save the story for later. But the general idea is the quirky knight originally planning to rescue the princess, ends up siding with the dragon while progressively learning predatory fighting skills from the reptile. The girl is not happy with this.
This was a fun project. Eventually I'll post more on the barefoot knight and icedragon. I'd like to make it into a book.

I got a different feel from seeing this for the first time. It looked like the kingdom knights were harming the Princess's friend, the ice dragon, and she's about to kick some ass.

Although dragons in distress makes me think of all the dragon related legends in real mythology where dragons were killed unjustly. Such as the Tarasque who was domesticated and then marched through the street to be stoned to death. Horribly distressing.

Well. I have more of the story i haven't told. But the plan was to have the dragon a bit oppressed. I'm saving the story in full for when i publish. I'll come up with a name eventually.
