Aww! Thank you.
It's an old fireship, but I think it's important to not forget.

They do a very tough job, I'm sure, and it's good to remember them.

Indeed, they do.
It makes me sad hearing that they and other helpers like ambulance men get mistreated so often these days.

Oh no, that's terrible! I didn't know rescue workers were being treated badly in your area of the world... perhaps it's a bit similar to the situation with the police over here... I hope it gets better on "both sides of the pond," for everyone....

Yeah, it's really a shame. Things go from people simply disturbing things by lurking around and making photos and videos to insults and, well, sadly sometimes even being violent. It's gone especially bad with all those lurkers around, that the police started to use movable walls to keep them from watching.
And that's all for a few more likes more ...
I really hope that people return to having some common sense, but I don't think that things will change any time soon if the government doesn't put up some hefty fines against those.

Oh my goodness, that's awful! What in the world started people being so hateful to firemen and the like (if it's okay of me to ask)?? I know the stuff with the police here in the U.S. got sparked by incidents of police brutality and racism (which I agree were bad, I just think it's also awful that some people now want to take it out on all policemen and rebel against the idea of the police in general, instead of just focusing on these specific incidents), but I hadn't heard about anything with rescue workers in Europe....

I don't really know.
Most troublesome are really all the lurkers, who make it hard for people getting rescued from
car accidents or burning houses. I suppose it has become a terrible sport of snapping pics or videos of
other people in trouble. It's really awful. Than there's the racists and groups like Reichsbürger, who think
they belong to our country like it is and don't recognizes our laws, taxes and such on.

Oh my gosh, how terrible of people to just want to take photos and not even try to help in the meantime! And yeah... that sounds awful too, dealing with groups like that... the whole darn world's in a mess nowadays... I suppose it always has been, in a way, but there's just so much political extremism everywhere now, and I know that it just feels exhausting, sometimes, to have that friction in the air everywhere....
