Description AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! FINISHED!

My entry for 's contest! 8D Hope I'm not too late

The theme was "FMA scenes we'd like to see", and the only thing I got around to do was some silly EdXWin >>; Seriously though, I couldn't have been the only EdWin fan screaming at the tv at the end of the movie: "BUT WHAT ABOUT WINRY??! YOU TWAT!!"

Though I've settled with it and understand the ending a little but more, and yadda yadda yadda, I still wanted Ed to just come back 83

Started playing around a bit with softglow and all that Handy stuff, that

Proud of this one! Though there are white spots all over and the shading isn't that good in various places, that softglow really made my eyes lit 8D LITERALLY. OMG, THEY BURN! AAAAH!

First of all, this has been wondd. The shading and light source are wel done! ^^ I especially love the feel of it.

Now on to the improvements.

1. The door.
Sorry, but if you closed that door, the thing would be far too large for the opening. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..."/> The door knob should be slightly lower, too.

2. Winry's hands.
Try making her hands slightly bigger next time. ^^

3. Winry's profile.
It kinda looks like she's tucking her chin into her neck...that isn't good. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..."/> Also, her nose is far too low and the point of her nose is too close to her face. I say profiles are your next improvement. ^^

Overall this is a very inspiring piece! It makes me want to start drawing and test out different light techniques. ^^ So keep it up and good luck in the contest~!

I've tried, but I just can't get past that a lot of the first episodes are awfully depressing D: Maybe that's just me, though. Thanks for recommending it, though! I'll definetely hold out for some of the EdWin in the series.

You should, there are some very heart-melting moments. I've always had an addiction to tradgedy and its dramatic aspects being a theater geek, so I guess I handle it better.

Great work!! I'm very impressed, especially with Edward's shadow going into the room and across the table. It gives the piece a very realistic feel.

aww, lovely.
love the soft glow! It does burn, but in a good, happy way.
And yay for the bright white light coming from behind Ed. You know why it's there? BECAUSE HE IS GOD.

Despite the lovely scene going on in the picture, I was drawn to the light falling on the windowsill through the blinds. No idea why.

by the by your picture has inspired a short fanfic probably around 200 words if that. Now I don't know how to add a picture to a text but I still wanted to ask your permission to do so. Or even link the picture to the fanfic.
