Here it is my friends: My little weekend challenge away from the digital art world an into the magical world of sketching

Thank you to everybody letting me butcher your styles :'D

You may see that the bottom ones are bigger? that's because the last three was drawn on a paper by themselves so the more space was used to my advantage :'D

One thing I've learned is that many of you like drawing 3/4 profiles to the left where I had started drawing mine to the right which made it quite difficult to find references at times :'D In some cases I tried even mirroring your drawings the best I could so much for making it easy for myself X'D
Also a big bunch of you had already drawn Firefly for me so I found that very helpful

(left) Trying to sort through your art to find the occasionally human was something It was fun to see the subtle changes in your style over style
(right) You had in a way made this way easier for me deciding to open traditional commissions because then I had a journal full of references for this challenge Making all this crosshatching was a treat
Another one of you who was right up the alley for this contest since you so often submit sketches I could use for references it was interesting and fun for me trying to keep to your more rough colouring of the hair and also keeping some of the first sketch shinning through
Oho here we have even more visible crosshatching OVO Gosh your sketches has changed quite a bit in a short amount of time :'D that's cool tho it shows progress it was fun trying to imitate your sketch with this little boy
And this was when I tired yesterday and started failing big time :'D I ended up giving myself a second chance today with your style Even though you have drawn Firefly for me I actually ended up using your Janusz drawing more as a reference than Firefly :'D I wasn't sure which face shape I wanted to go for since you are really good at varying your head shapes and noses especially but in the end I tried with a lightly longer face with long nose since I saw this combo quite a lot the shading style is pretty much a mixture between your traditional and digital style because I am indecisive :'D
Drawing your shadows was really nice also eye differences in side view :'D I have noticed you tend to make a visible difference between the eye sizes at times like this so since I am not at all used to this in my old art it was fun to try to imitate ^V^
Unlike Laura (Gosh-Heck) it didn't take me long to choose a face shape for this one since your style has a very recognisable up-side down triangular shape for pretty much all of them for some reasons the eyes did give a bit of a struggle here yet in the end I hope I managed them alright
Oh boy, this was a challenge: being the only one I haven't been keeping up with recently your style was harder for me to pin down - you have progressed so much in your style it is really inspiring to see yet it does make it a bit harder for me to imitate I do hope I did an alright job and thank you for letting me try :'D
