And so came the day of the light ^V^
To everybody knowing what day it is happy sankta Lucia (we do not talk about it is not December 13 anymore :'D x'D)
Sankta Lucia day is especially celebrated in Scandinavia where we celebrate Lucia the saint of light and innocence by the children dressing up in white gown (sometimes with red belts) and lights singing while "dancing" (more light stepping one foot at the time in a long row) down the hall the front person - most often a girl- has a crown made of cedar with four candles on top - she is called the Lucia bride ^V^

For the third time my Lucia bride is Balder
It is probably no surprise x'D
When I looked at the poll I'd made he was clearly the winner yet later I noticed Iloise and him were now tied so I am sorry to those of you who'd liked to see Iloise instead :'D

I ended up not only making one but three different versions of the same drawing where two will be online x'D
This one is the reason why it took me one more day than I imagined it would: I decided not only to the bride but the whole Lucia group x'D
I added in those of the babies with the most votes in my poll plus Willow and Angel being cute in the background and Rebecca that was suggested by Silver :3
I had two different versions of the group drawing but I ended up chosing this one where the guys behind is a bit more blurred I like the perspective even if it means all my details I spend tonight to draw is half lost x'D

Btw I want to apologize if anybody was watching me finishing him up yesterday while listening in on my music and just heard the same Danish Christmas song 4 times in a row x'D Fun trivia about said song: It is called The Way of the Light (Lysets Vej) and is about Balder (yes, my boy's namesake) the God of light dreaming about the day he can escape the Underworld and see the light again :'D it felt so fitting I couldn't help playing it while doing the finishing touches :'D

The title of this piece too is from the song btw
