I promised you guys an introduction to my two newest character, and here we have Xu ^V^

Yes, I (kind of) made a new species to fit with the phoenix siblings - it came to pass when the adopt I got for Kaixza looked quite different from any other character and species I own with firecoloured eyes and a hood seemingly made of coal and magma.
So here's what I came up with for the new species of mine - the humanoid phoenix or the xizrande (this is copied from Xu's bio on toyhouse):

Human phoenixes or xizrande (meaning born of fire) are not per say firebirds but creatures born with fire in their blood and appearing more like demonoid beings with paleblue, purple or red skin and glowing red or yellow eyes. They often have big visible birthmarks where the skin is thin as showing the magra like texture of their blood underneath. They often have spiked ears that'll hide behind a cloak.
The xizrande people will mostly go by human phoenix when speaking with people outside their community since it is much more convienient. I will use 'xirande' and phoenix interchangably here.
Xizrande are said to be granted mastery over life by the Firemaster (the god of the xizrande people) themselves yet only as long as the fire in their soul burn bright. Nobody knows how many phoenixes were granted this gift and how many are still alive because for a time they were haunted like wild animals due to their mostery appearance. The xizrande would try their best to hide in the shadows yet being constantly in fear made their fight and flight instinct set their capes and clothes on fire. While it seldom happens today mordern phoenixes has sown firepatterns into their cloaks to pay tribute to the dark days.
In time the xizrande learned to trick the light around them making themself a human disguise to better blend in with mortals. This made their mortality and anxiety rate go down now being able to hide for many lifetimes without being discovered. It was only when the phoenixes would gather far away from the mortal eye and celebrate their god that they showed their original form. It is still proper today to show oneself in their original form whenever the phoenixes gather in times of need or celebration.
Wether it is a myth or not the phoenixes are said to be giving their soul back to the firemaster when they die and if they were judged to be worthy they'll rise from their ashes in a new life with parts of their own identity intact. This way it is hard to say how old a phoenix is since they will count their lived experience in lifetimes not years. Almost every phoenix will identify as some sort of multigender (bigender, pangender etc.) because of their shared conciousness throughout their lifespans.

Back to Xu:
Xu is the 14th reincarnation of Xu/Xul/Xulan (each reincarnation has one of these three names), his name means the strategist and indeed the first few of his lives were known to best find ways to adapt and stay alive so much so the first Xu was said to live for 200 years.
This Xu uses most of her strategic mind to play boardgames and outsmart her opponents. Otherwise she is actually quite reckless and have a hard time planning more than a few days ahead. He tend to begin new sports all the time yet will not play them for long at the time.
Xu lives together with Kaixza in Canada. Their relationship can be comparred with those of siblings.
