I know exactly what you mean! I did read the recent hellboy mini by Duncan Fegredo which I thought was good, but usually I only like Mignola. Thanks for the great compliment!

I've seen a DVD from a Hellboy cartoon, and it's from Mignola and it's even directed from Guilhermo del Toro, who made the movie, but... I don't understand much of animation, but u can really identify Mignola traces but the colours and the animation makes it looks like the worst batman, teen titans and all the bad super-hero animations (all those examples have good and bad series of cartoons for me)
Well, I haven't seen the cartoon yet, maybe del Toro is better on this one
I'll look for that Duncan Fregedo's Hellboy. I'm from Brazil and there we don't have a strong comic books culture, and many series are hard to find there, and then I came to Alaska and found a whole section of graphic novels on the library! OMG!

Thanks man! I will probably be primarily in Bahia in June, but its possible I will fly into Sao Paulo so maybe I'll pass through! My portuguese is really bad...I know enough to communicate the basic necessities, but I don't know how to speak correctly. I actually am planning to move there hopefully near the end of the year, so I look forward to learning much more at that time.
