Wow, number 20!! Almost halfway through a year doing these weekly sketches. I have to say, there have been a few weeks here and there when I really didn't feel like my art was improving much, but this week I feel like I'm finally starting to break through some creative blocks and also becoming more comfortable with certain digital techniques. Speaking of which, this is the first week where all my sketches are in color(I think...). I really want to focus on improving and developing my ability with color, and coming up with a technique that I feel fits the style I want to use in my creator-owned book...Haven't forgotten about that have you guys?? I haven't! In fact, in the next week or two I should have the script for the first volume in my hands and will begin laying out the entire first book. Can't tell you how excited I am!
